NBC has always done multiple channels for the "Championship Sunday" this year they had matches on NBC, USA, SYFY, Golf Channel, CNBC, then a bunch on Peacock.
Before 2020 they used, NBC, NBC SN, USA, SYFY, MSNBC, CNBC, E! , Bravo, Golf Channel, Oxygen and Olympic Channel. It's one day a year so it's not a big matter.

ESPN 8 is an ESPN annual event (usually on August 8) where they take a joke from Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and makes usually ESPN2 into a network called ESPN 8 :The Ocho for the day where they broadcast random sports or "rarely seen sports" usually dipping into their archives.
