I am kind of curious how many of their memories they still have left because they seem consciously aware that they're people ported into some virtual world (especially Pomni) and also some semblance of their past life (again, Pomni) even if they can't remember specifics.
We should hopefully get some clues in future episodes. Otherwise we only have the creator's say. Like that Pomni's age 25 and that Jax is apparently afraid of corn.

Was shopping with someone yesterday and she got her kid a Pomni shirt from Hot Topic. Was amazed by that because I and friends online and someone I know irl all can say we enjoy TACD, I greatly enjoy the characters they're all well thought and entertaining, Pomni and Ragatha being my faves and generally praised by most understandably.

"The Amazing Digital Circus Lands Netflix Distribution Deal"

28kxpkz7.jpg

"If you’ve been wandering around the Internet and stumbled on fanart of a person in a jester outfit with a panicked expression, then you’ve already encountered the phenomenon that is The Amazing Digital Circus. A fully independent animated series, the show launched its pilot on YouTube about a year ago and racked up over 25 million views in just a month.

We previously saw this happen with Hazbin Hotel / Helluva Boss, an indie project which graduated into a bona fide million-dollar television series on Amazon Prime. The Amazing Digital Circus has already beaten the records set by Hazbin Hotel (which it shares some of its production crew with) so the question everyone’s been asking is, which streamer was going to pick it up? It seemed like a matter of when, not if.

This week we learned it’s Netflix, but it’s not quite the same deal as with Hazbin Hotel. In the latter case Amazon assumed the production and cost of the series in exchange for exclusivity and ownership. In this case, Netflix will not own The Amazing Digital Circus, nor will it be funding or even splitting the cost of production. This is a distribution deal only, with creator Gooseworx holding full rights. Given the state of the business lately, you really can’t blame TADC for hesitating to shake any hands."

Technically yes, but just for a distribution deal. The article says: "In this case, Netflix will not own The Amazing Digital Circus, nor will it be funding or even splitting the cost of production. This is a distribution deal only, with creator Gooseworx holding full rights."

Wow at how big this has gotten on Netflix. It did what Terminator 0 and Twilight of the Gods failed to do and that was chart in the weekly top 10. And it did it with only three episodes, which is really amazing. I did find this indie cartoon much more enjoyable than Hazbin Hotel as I found that to be another rude and crude adult comedy, and I'm not a fan of the genre. This show seemed to be a surreal dramedy with episode 2 being an Adventure Time esque romp in a candy world and episode 3 being the scary episode. It had a VR game premise similar to lots of anime, but the characters look like they come from a super wacky comedy cartoon. Those character designs are really memorable with Caine and Pomni being characters I see people cosplay at cons a lot. Don't know how long until episode 4 comes out, but this looks like the latest indie toon sensation.

I am incapable of binge watching. I won't do it. Unfortunately, many shows on streaming are made to be binged.
It's a shame what has happened to the Internet Archive. Tons of lost media and pieces of history might be gone forever if the site isn't back up.
