That is never going to happen. She has less screen time yes, but the show would not resort to doing that.
The writers already got rid of Jackie, after Angie dies, Marco won't treat it like a big deal. He is a squire of Mewni. He doesn't care about his family and his brother. Marco will never visit because Marco is a liar. He forgot about the baby shower after the episode as shown in Booth Buddies and Divide/Conquer.

We will never see Jackie again. She kinda "died" from the show, And the writers making Angie die is just another excuse for drama. Death by childbirth. It's happening with most women nowadays when getting pregnant in their early 40s. Angie is at that age. Marco will never visit and babysit his brother. He said should've visit his family more. But he lied.

Marco will be absent for half of Season 4 like he was last season.

He will be a useless plot device supporting character still being treated like a squire slave. Star still wants to be a better princess and proper queen.

More useless filler side characters.

Marco will date Kelly and fall in love with her.

Marco will miss the birth of his baby brother. That high school dropout will never visit Earth again ever since the baby shower leaving little Marco Jr. crying all day because he has neglectful parents. Marco hates his family. He rather be a squire than visit his family. He is a liar and manipulator being a bad boyfriend to Jackie who committed suicide after the last time they dated.

And all we will get is love drama and Pony Head filler. Eclipsa is secretly evil wanting to take over the world. Globgor is evil. Buff Frog and Ludo will never return. Jackie died. Angie died after giving birth. Kelly loves Marco. Tom wants to marry Star and have a baby with her.

Season 4 will suck. They will reuse Season 3’s intro making it completely obsolete. Miss Heinous/Meteora is a baby.

More drama. Disney Channel will delay this show to late Fall 2019 because all they care about is their sitcoms and laugh tracks. Season 4 will be the worst thing on TV ever.

I think season 4 could coincide with the release of Amphibia and/or The Owl House due to focusing on spunky teen girls.
All Disney Channel does is air sitcoms pushing their cartoons to bad timeslots. This will apply to these shows too along SVTFOE because they rather have cheesy jokes and laugh tracks rather than having thought out animated content putting a lot of heart in each scene.

Question: Does Star Butterfly count as a Disney princess?
I don't think so. Much like with Sofia from Sofia The First and Elena from Elena Of Avalor, she never started with a theatrical movie. (Sofia and Elena may have started with movies, but they were television movies). Those like Cinderella and Snow White would count as official Disney princesses since they started with theatrical movies that were successful in the box office.

On January 6, the Battle For Mewni movie will make its Disney Channel debut at 7am. I assume the rest of season 3 will roll out each weekend afterwards. Has season 2 aired on the main channel yet?

Yes, Season 2 has aired on the main channel already back in 2017.

And airing at 7 AM. That's a bad timeslot. Expect a "Cram Session" promo update from Disney Channel

If they air one rerun a week, Season 4 will premiere probably May 2019

If they have two reruns a week (one for Saturday and one for Sunday), then the show could hypothetically return for season 4 on March 16. Take a look.

Season 3:

January 6: episodes 1-4

January 12-13: episodes 5-6

January 19-20: episodes 7-8

January 26-27: episodes 9-10

February 2-3: episodes 11-12

February 9-10: episodes 13-14

February 16-17: episodes 15-16

February 23-24: episodes 17-18

March 2-3: episodes 19-20

March 9-10: episodes 21-22

March 16: season 4 premiere

Again, this is just an estimated guess. It's not set in stone.

Good idea, but there wouldn't be a way for SVTFOE to air twice a week given that the "Cram Session". It's giving how Disney Channel scheduled Season 2 for Milo Murphy's Law to air at 7 AM on Saturdays. And they air new Ducktales episodes at 7:30, new Big City Greens at 8 AM, and reruns of Gravity Falls at 8:30 AM.

So if they stuck with only airing once every Sunday at 7 AM we will probably get Season 3 reruns up until April 28, 2019. Making Season 4 premiere on May 5, 2019.

And judging that Disney Channel never gives any individual marketing/advertising for Milo Murhpy's Law, SVTFOE will likely suffer the same fate despite being popular among the fans who love it and watch it.

Sad thing is, once they air all the episodes, they will never rerun it again on Disney Channel completely removing it from existence (on the channel), given how they completely removed Tangled and Big Hero 6 from the schedule completely since the channel only cares about sitcoms and original movies.

Side note: Do TV ratings matter now or do they mostly rely with On-Demand and the Disney NOW! app

Except some don't even have Disney XD.

I bet Season 4 will have less than average 100,000 viewers if they air it at such an awful 7 AM time slot.

It's not even a theatrical movie, it's films that were released by the main studio (and Pixar's lone contribution), and not even every princess from that canon is there.

Even with a timeslot like that, shows on the main channel get at 300,000 views.
But SVTFOE never got over a million viewers. The only episode that ever gotten up to that point is when Disney Channel first aired it in January 2015 with over 2 million views and when Disney XD first premiered on March 30, 2015.

This show is popular but DIsney Channel just doesn't care about a good time slot for it at all.
