I loved the special, it is everything a Christmas special should be.

Though I do have nip picks, like if we going to have Maricela bonding with the man that obvious suppose to be an mirror of an Turo and older Maricela relationship, than have Maricela and Turo have a moment themselves.

The biggest complaint I have is
Abigail's parents. If you want to keep them off screen fine, but what they did it is worse, they just tease us. It is not fair, they didn't show us Abigail's parents, it is like the show knows we want to see them, but just rub it in our face that we are not going to. Not nice to antagonize the audience like that.

Also I wanted to see what is going it with Grayson and the 3 ghosts that came to visit him.

Okay I finished part 1 of Riding Adventures and exited to see what happens next.

We get to see Abigail's parents at last. Though a little inconsistent from the Christmas special when we saw the back of their heads, in the Christmas special, Abigail's mom was a blonde, here she is a red head. And I am so happy Maricela joined at the end. Not only because I love Maricela and come on we need the PALMs, but also Spirit and Mystery get to spent more time together, and it was so funny doesn't understand the whole mis match romantic relationship of Spirit and Mystery, when she and Turo are the same.

Though I worry what old enemies might show up in part 2, the mountain lion, Butch Dupree, or maybe the Butch and the mountain lion team up.

Mao Mao has been on hiatus since October. There will be no new episodes airing in June in the U.S., despite those last 9 episodes of Season 1 (31-40) allegedly leaked by Aussie streaming service Stan back in April, and we've been telling ourselves NOT to spoil any of these episodes on social media until they are officially released.

Man, it's really hard to like your favorite show when it's stuck in a long hiatus...
Take this with a very huge grain of salt. While I was on Tomb Cartoon Monkey Skeleton, I found a comment which was saying which new CN originals will premiere this and next year.

Lisa Ortiz's mother passed away.

I found this interview that Pam Arciero (Grundgetta from Sesame Street) took part in. I mainly skipped to 1:35, where she mentioned how production on the show ground to a halt because of the pandemic. There was about 1 more week of material to tape. She says they could start again in October, but that could change.
