I feel like a prestige streaming model for Sandman makes a lot of sense. I'm also glad Gaiman is involved :).

"Most expensive TV series produced by DC Entertainment." Well, if you're going to adapt the visuals of the comic accurately, you bet they need a high budget :p.

I remember Heinberg was rumored for a Marvel TV show at one time. Even though he wrote a few DC comics and the WW screenplay, it's still an intriguing choice for showrunner though that experience lies with those ABC dramas he's more famous for.

It's funny. Netflix scooped up Lucifer. Now they're working on a Sandman show. If they scoop up Swamp Thing, it's a legit Vertigo verse. heh.

Im so glad Netflix picked it up. They have all the money next to Disney. Hopefully, WB DC will treat it well with casting. Thank goodness Gaoman is involved. I imagine HBO wasn't buying it for financial reasons.

Episode order is 11. Logline released, "A rich blend of modern myth and dark fantasy in which contemporary fiction, historical drama and legend are seamlessly interwoven, The Sandman follows the people and places affected by Morpheus, the Dream King, as he mends the cosmic — and human — mistakes he’s made during his vast existence."

I've heard suggestions. Even one about Jared Leto, before he was Joker or Morbius. I did hear they might get a transgender actor, which is just like. . . okay then.
