I can't believe I'm doing this v_v

Okay, a bit of warning. This track was conceived, written, recorded and mixed within the span of 5 hours. It's utter crap, but I have a massive amount of respect for my younger brother (a tender 14-years old) who was able to somehow make sense of it all.

I thought it would be appropriately cheesy to utilize the most overused drum loop in history for a silly song that's an inside joke amongst 3-4 people.

And I have no idea what possessed me to pick up a harmonica. ><

Enough stalling. At least you might get a chuckle out of it.

I figure I may as well advertise my dad's band, The Neighbors. They're actually doing pretty well for themselves right now. In the running to get one of their songs in a show, and they're also on iTunes. Here's the MySpace page. This'll mostly appeal to fans of classic rock probably.

These are only 6 of their many songs. My favorite songs on the list are "Shadow Town" and "Out on the Horizon."

Big news for my dad's band. They got a song that's going to be in the upcoming TNT pilot, "Hound Dogs." Unfortunately, the show hasn't been confirmed to air yet. But this is seriously an awesome song, and I don't even think I'm being biased since he's my dad. I'd really appreciate it if you guys could give this one a listen and send it around if you like it. He's so talented and has waited all his life for a song to break, and this is the closest he's ever gotten. By the way, this song is sung and co-written by Greg Camp from Smash Mouth!!!

I remembered that I have this thing that I made long ago in guitar pro (which is sort of a guitar tabs player with some very nice audio options), I listened to it today for the first time in forever and it's better that I remembered. I really like the beginning but it sorta loses some of its magic later on, mostly because I could have handled better the volume of some instruments (and some tones as well), my ear is not an expert for these kind of things
Enjoy :)

I miss making music on that thing, it was fun.

Also, I know that these posts are all old but there's some wonderful stuff in this thread, most of these people are obviously much more established musicians than I am lol.

My personal synopsis: I'm not the most energetic or enthusiastic person you'll ever meet, but that doesn't mean I can't have fun. Generally, I'm pretty introverted and usually play video games, watch anime, and also study in the field of IT. I'm a huge music fanatic, as well. And I listen to pretty much everything except country. My favorites being trap, jazz, and metal.
anyone else surprised that new Paw Patrol one hour special are now Nick's #1 most watched premieres in 2018 so far?
