So for some reason I feel like no one has adressed this, ever. But the Tom Turk and Daffy print on this Super Stars DVD looks terrible, mostly because of bad interlacing problems. When you try to fix it, the cartoon just ends up looking unsharp. I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if I just have a bad copy. As far as I know this one isn't available on any streaming service. Just this DVD copy.

Unfortunately this was from the era when WB had a lot less money to work on restorations, so it's to be expected that certain cartoons would not turn out as good as Golden Collections vol. 2-6.

Overall the Super Stars dvd's do look bad comparing to the Golden Collections. I almost get the feeling they were using interpositives back then. Still, those dvd's provide the best versions available (although recently a lot have been turning up on Boomerang in HD).

Then my question remains: Does everybody have the same interlacing problem with this particular cartoon?
