Looks like Nick has started to advertise it. I just saw a teaser promo saying it's coming soon. In other news, the official website was launched earlier this month.

As I checked this month, Pinky Malinky is no longer on nick.com main page, but the link still exists, and only one video is shown which is just a digital video, and I think the teaser promo video for coming soon has been removed. That maybe we are certain that this series may air much sooner as expected, maybe spring 2017?

SIGHS...I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy here but really, this is just appealing TO THE LOWERST COMMON DENOMINATOR!! it's just really bad, I have really no faith in this.

Reminds me of AWOG, and that's not a good thing, in my honestly honest opinion. I found Gumball to be a rather boring show. I agree with you that this show just seems to be reaching for the low hanging fruit in terms of appealing to an audience.

According to the Variety, Nick’s future new series “Pinky Malinky” (which is little overdue to air series) stars a girl whose African-American mother owns her own business and Caucasian dad is “mister mom.”

PS I finally figured out how to insert referenced link in text

Sounds good for the show to feature a character like this.

I'm honestly shocked it won't be coming until 2018 since I saw it teased a couple times on the channel last November (though not at all since then). I figured it was delayed since we haven't heard anything else, but I didn't think it would be by that long. I wonder what happened.

2018 that is a longer time than I would expect, sad to see it get held for a longer time than it was expected for.

Weirdly, the production crew have deleted their official Tumblr blog and Instagram page. The Tumblr blog has now been taken over by a spam one. :/

I'm sure it will still happen. Though I'm not sure what's going on.

It's whether they are at delayed production or Nick is holding them long enough until they say whether they'll release it, its pretty much like how we're waiting for Welcome to the Wayne to come around in 2016, but eventually moved it to this year.
