Today's episode was pretty good. I enjoyed it a bit more than the last two. The characters' superpowers were funny and I enjoyed how the episode lampooned Marvel superheroes as a whole (even Spider-Man becoming Venom with Banana's power). I feel that I will enjoy it a lot more than a certain Fantastic Four reboot coming out this year...

Dang it. I was going to say "in before F4 reboot comparison.".
..Aug 7 can't come here soon enough :D...Oh well.

Better than "PGBC High-Five". It was also a very focused ep, since the premise yet again affected them all.
This episode reminded me of the Supergriffins segment of that one Family Guy ep.
Especially in the context of Cricket being the only one who wasn't able to gain powers from the meteor.
So, he improvised and got sick. Fortunately for him, he managed to develop a power from that illness.

So, Goat in general has a pension for seeking validation from other people,
which ever talent she may possess.
Possibly the most ironic joke, intentional or otherwise, in this ep was when Goat was being praised for saving the supermarket right on top of the rubble of the supermarket.

Of course, Pig would get into some wacky hijinks (I could have sworn he ate the donut supervillain) and of course Banana would sway towards villainy out of his laziness to help others.
I enjoyed how quickly the 3 were able to "peel" Banana out of his evil suit.

I am relieved there wasn't a fate of the world type conflict like the last two.
Aww noes, no Rastafarian Rat gag.

A pretty OK superhero parody
Goat basically showed us that no matter how lame a superpower may seem, it is still better than no powers at all
Pig devouring parts of his opponent reminded me of Marvel Zombies Quicksilver
One could argue that Mantis with his intellect would not need superpowers. BTW, it speaks volumes that Mantis here is not the only superhero with disease based powers
As for Banana, I'll have to say that they missed a perfect joke by not making the Venom equivalent be chocolate

"The Chronicles of Cutesachusetts"
This episode rocked
Loved how this show could go from doing chores to a Sword & Sorcery fantasy, and finish on a Mad Max style death-race
Loved how not only all the plot-lines, but also all the running jokes eventually came together and played a role in the plot.
Goat hitting her head, thinking she's a car, and the other characters riding her as a car would be funny enough on its own, but then Cricket actually modifying her into a battle-wagon, as if she were an actual car was comedy genius.
Similarly, Thomas Jefferson from the nickel coming to life an fighting goat could have been just a one-off throwaway surreal joke, but the fact that Nickel Jefferson comes back for the finale and defeats the main villain was comedy gold.
Also, except for the fact that I immediately knew the bunny would be evil, I legitimately did not see most of the plot-twists coming

Also, I can't go on enough about just how beautiful the art and animation on this show is.
The whole race section was a joy to behold

This week's episode was pretty wild. I never thought the neighbors were going to stay after everything that transpired in the episode. Banana and Goat's plots were the funniest, Pig's was amusing, but Cricket's was kinda out there (even for a show like this) and the obvious Exorcist reference was so bizarre that it almost kinda worked..? It's something you'd have to see for yourself because I doubt a description would do it justice on any accounts.

One gripe that I've mentioned about the show before is its alternating between hand drawn and Flash animation between episodes. It's jarring and very noticeable especially compared to the lavish movement of the second episode and the intro sequence. Having said that, I'm trying to not let it bother me that much anymore as the PGBC's art style is rather detailed compared to most shows on the market right now and the interview that Ed Liu posted with Johnny Ryan and Dave Cooper stated that the artists bust their butts trying to emulate the style as closely as possible, so I can forgive it. At the very least they could find an animation studio that produces great Flash animation - I would have suggested Titmouse if they weren't working on Breadwinners right now, but oh well.

Amazing episode
Love how they basically took the episode's premise, and did EVERYTHING with it, even the really outlandish stuff
The best part is that you don't see half of the twists coming
Also, it is rare and refreshing to actually see the protagonists win at the end of an episode like this, instead of the universe punishing them for daring to defend themselves

Breadwinners is done by Titmouse?
So THAT'S why the show is so nice to look at!

Saw a preview of today's episode on Nick's YouTube channel and Justin Roilland voices an antagonistic giraffe.

I'm already looking forward to this episode.

I know Pig Goat Banana Cricket isn't very popular but there's no reason to burn it on Nicktoons. I mean so was Sanjay and Craig but the remaining episodes aired on Nickelodeon. I wonder what that's about.

TBH Sanjay and Craig did great for some time, PGBC never did good, but neither did Harvey Beaks, it's like they know that Harvey has more potential, and, honestly, quality, but then, why bother green-lighting shows like PGBC in the first place?

Wow, Nick absolutely cleared house on their Nicktoons. Even more impressive that SJC survive the Nicktoons ship off when you consider it was around with RI and BW.

So currently, Nick only has SBSP, TMNT, FOP, HB, and TLH. Not including AatC, MLB, and RA... but that's quite a downsizing of Nicktoons. I would expect FOP is also on it's last stretch and Nick is prepping for Bunsen is a Beast and Welcome to the Wayne. That's the only upcoming Nicktoons right?

Nick has Welcome to the Wayne and Pinky Malinky in production, and have acquired Mysticons.

Nick also has Albert, the networks first original animated TV movie, planned.
