The quality of CN India's promos have deteriorated a lot. Before 2011 they felt like any other international CN channel. But now with the localisation craziness they don't care so much about the promos, and the voiceover is terrible.

I mean look at this! They have lost their roots.

Pogo used to have good promos as well.

Even before 2011, I thought that CN Asia was better than CN India. CN Asia was more up-to-date and had a well-balanced schedule in comparison. Maybe India had a preference for older shows.

Some of the CN India promos I saw on the YT channel I remember seeing the same on CN Pakistan in the old days.

Oh and CN India didn't even have Teleshopping back then!

I am. His previous channel with more stuff was "gokumon16". There was also one member here on TZ who claimed to have known someone from India who had some 90s tapes, but nothing ever came out of it. I'm thinking maybe DaffyDuck on YT could be lucky enough to find something eventually. Seems like best hope right now.
Then let's ask him. @daffyduck, what do you say?

Man, seeing this thread makes me wish I'd kept all the cable guide books that my old cable provider issued like a decade ago. I used to read them a lot.

An incomplete CN Asia (don't know when did they switch to CN Australia) schedule from around May 2002 can be found 45 seconds into this ad for Skywatch Magazine from New Zealand:

Finding footage from foreign channel is not easy these days. If I find any footage from these places, I will upload them to my channel.

Ages ago, I recall stumbling on a clip of Johnny Bravo in German from that block and what I recall seeing was a kabel eins bumper of some description before the show started. And it had a CN block. Unfortunately I don't think there were any bumpers and promos like the second block on the channel.

Not all of Family Guy has aged well (and he knows this - hell, he's friends with the PTC president now) but I genuinely think Seth MacFarlane is a really good guy.

Imagine a broadcast TV network giving someone who worked at the Golden Age of Cartoon Network the opportunity to worked on a show, and doing 8 interviews, only to completely ghosted him for weeks for absolutely no reason.

Try to wrap your head around on that one, folks.

Seriously. Explain that to me, Memorable Entertainment Television? :/
Didn't notice that the site was back...

I'll start off by saying X-Men 97 has been a blast to watch. As someone who grew up exposed to the films and cameos on other shows, it was definitely a different treat seeing how both iterations of the franchise handle the characters and their world.
Professor X's speech in today's episode was powerful ... nuff said.
