It was only aired during the Nick Jr. block. But only a few times. And yes I did see the promo for Thoams & Friends on TV.

Thomas seems like a very last minute acquisition.There hasn't been any publicity, and there's currently no site.

Yeah...and my zap2it just updated and Thomas & Friends will also air on NickJr starting Mon Dec 18 at 7PM weekdays:

Dec 18 - "Over the Hill"
Dec 19 - "Daisy's Perfect Christmas"
Dec 20 - "Emily in the Middle"
Dec 21 - "The Big Freeze"
Dec 22 - "The Christmas Coffee Pot" (main Nickelodeon will air on Dec 15 at 1:30PM)

Also not only was Thomas & Friends aren't added to nickjr site, but Nick did not even issue a press release for last minute acquisition. I heard someone on twitter saying PBS will remove Thomas & Friends by January..

Teletubbies and Thomas and Friends. Interesting that Nick Jr. is getting some of PBS' top stuff.

Viacom did mention that Nick Jr. was one of its six brands it wanted to focus on, so I'm assuming this is part of that - really beefing up its lineup.

And let's be honest, of all the Nick channels, Nick Jr. really is the only one that has variety (original programming and Nick Jr. block shows), balance with old and new shows, as well as staying most true to it's premise (I know Winx Club, Kuu Kuu Harajuku, and Regal Academy are off).

If I remember correctly, Nick Jr. Channel also out-rates Disney Jr. so the channel definitely has clout - so the financial investment to nab TaF is warranted.

The same PR saids New episodes will continue to air in its regular timeslot on Fridays at 6:30 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon. January 25th 2018 isn't a Friday.
