Sorry for double post, I checked zap2it, starting tonight Rocko's Modern Life marathon will actually start at 11:32PM-6AM this week including weekends. 11PM has scheduled Rugrats but episode title did not display which could possibly be a placeholder scheduler..

Note that NickSplat always goes off the clock.

Could we be closer to getting a premiere date for Rocko: Static Cling, since this marathon is happening? This might as well be a special occasion

I'm sorry, but that promo doesn't tell us anything. It just shows clips from the original show without a hint as to what the new version is supposed to look like (unless they're planning to bring back the original set?). In any case, I hope it's actually Double Dare, and not an in name only version.

Starting this weekend, Kenan & Kel is off NickSplat's line-up. It'll be replaced by Rugrats, meaning the #NickSplat line-up is now the same every night: 11p-12a Rocko's Modern Life 12-1a Rugrats 1-3a Hey Arnold! 3-4a Doug 4-6a Rugrats

This is sad that 3 shows airing NickSplat, though back in 2015 for 90s Are All That Block has had Rugrats, Hey Arnold! and CatDog and up to the point they switched to The Splat back in fall 2015

Never watching NickSplat ever again. They obviously no longer care about Rocko, so I'm boycotting this poor excuse for a 90's block. I bet next week, the whole block's going to be replaced with iCarly.

I don't think that's true. Rocko has a comic line, a movie coming out and is still more loved than some of other Nickelodeon's shows. It's probably just taking a short break.

My two cents on this whole fiasco:

I really have to wonder why Nick and/or Viacom still wants Nicktoons and TeenNick/NickSplat to stay relevant, especially in this day and age. They're dying digital tier networks that nearly no one in America has, and they rely on reruns nowadays (at least Nicktoons has Mysticons, Yu-Gi-Oh! and the NickSports block; TeenNick has NO new content as of this writing). At least Nick Jr. (the channel) is still remaining fresh.

I mean, I get why Nick overplays a certain yellow sponge so often, it's on basic cable and it's still offering new content (but they constantly drop the ball), so they need the get the best ratings possible (even though I think it's high time for them to start adapting to the streaming world). But really, there's absolutely no excuse why Nicktoons and TeenNick/NickSplat can't have variety for once. At this point, both networks can do whatever they want with their lineups, so would it really kill them to just forget about ratings and start pleasing everyone. Either that, or they can simply shut down for all I care.

As for NickSplat itself, I always knew it was gonna from the start that it was gonna end up like The 90s' Are All That at some point, but this is a new low. If they're not willing to air other old shows from its huge library and just rely on three for cheap ratings, then what's the whole point of this poor excuse of a "nostalgia" block? Heck, I wouldn't even mind if TeenNick took more of its hours and shorten the block. At least that would make it a logical reason.

Bottom line: Nicktoons and especially TeenNick aren't just revelant anymore. They can air as much iCarly, Fairly OddParents, and Rugrats as they want and they still won't get huge ratings.

I guess we can hold out hope NickSplat will be replaced by another new retro block that has more shows (doubt it). A more possible idea is that Nick (well Viacom) will eventually have a streaming platform that includes the classics along with current shows and streaming exclusive shows.

Too bad shows like Kablam never get much airings, same with the shows below it. I'm amazed that they did end up airing shows in the 2000s, until know I never knew they did so.

Kablam and Oh Yeah Cartoons have rights issues because the individual cartoons were done by different studios. Most of the 2000s cartoons aired only in 2016 when they did the Nicktoons anniversary weekends, I think All Grown Up and As Told by Ginger are the only ones that aired other times. I recall Pelswick was supposed to be part of the Nicktoon anniversary weekend marathons also but got pulled at the last minute.

They should just cancel the NickSplat block and launch a 90's streaming app. They did it with Noggin, so why not their non-preschool shows?

I wouldn't be against a 90's streaming app/site (or putting more on hulu and some 2000's stuff too) . They could keep the block, it's not like Teennick has any other ideas for programming.
