Not the first time that Peppa Pig is airing on main Nick schedule. It did air on main Nick before, but that was few years ago (maybe christmas special or something..).

Also I wonder why NickAndMore is no longer posting Nick@Nite schedule on the grid.

No changes usually happen to Nick@Nite, that's why. Although Two and a Half Men is premiering soon.

Two and a Half Men actually begins airing on Wed Dec 6/Thurs Dec 7 at 1AM and 1:32AM (according to the schedule guide) replacing Fresh Prince slot that used to air. Other notable change is every Sat/early Sun 2:04AM and 2:38AM has George Lopez.
Off the clock is now different: like 12:00AM, 12:30AM, 1:00AM, 1:32AM, 2:04AM, 2:38AM, 3:13AM, 3:47AM, 4:21AM, 4:54AM, 5:28AM

Zap2it shows that Nick has updated this Friday's preschool shows line up. The new Sunny Day Christmas episode is now at 9:30AM. Both new Christmas episodes of Peppa Pig and Nella where pulled from main Nick.

Updated Nick's schedule for this week, and in addition to above: Game Shakers Christmas encore for Sunday is also pulled.

I guess new Shimmer and Shine and Sunny from last Friday had scored to mere series low, that in response to this Friday's christmas special of Peppa and Nella were pulled

Looks like the "girl empowerment" thing didn't work out very well, I always thought it overstayed its welcome. I'm not trying to be sexist or anything, but frankly I've been sick of it. Nickelodeon shouldn't gender segregate its programming.

Looks like most christmas specials were a one time serving then, of course nothing new obviously.

For only preschool block and Game Shakers, but Henry Danger, Thundermans, and surprisingly Nicky Ricky Dicky and Dawn, as well as popular shows still airs Christmas specials this weekend. And Santa Hunters will air on Tues Dec 12, Tiny Christmas movie just aired today, and will still show this weekend as well, and Lip Sync Battle Shorties holiday special. Albert movie promoted will air Fri 7PM

Yeah..that's weird, but back in early 2013, Nick Jr block aired Lost & Found for one time only with no promotion, so I can guess Thomas & Friends might be one time only acquisition..?

This won't be the first time they aired something Thomas-related. I think Shining Time Station also aired on the Nick Jr. block for a short time.

Thomas and Friends is still a popular show, so I can assume it's here to stay.

To add insult to Injury about Peppa Pig and Nella, and Sunny Day is that they advertised those holiday specials too, and two of the three shows aren't going to air this Friday.

I did looked at the WNED TV and the PBS channel schedule for January 2018 on the WNED TV website. So, Thomas & Friends will no longer air on PBS Kids.

It was one of their most popular shows too... And, Ironically, fellow Hit Entertainment show Bob the Builder started out on Nickelodeon and moved to PBS.

Huh Thomas and Friends on another channel than PBS that's new.

As of today TitanTV also lists Thomas & Friends airing this Friday at 1:30PM on the Nick Jr. block on main Nickelodeon channel.
