No Regular Episode This Week. Why? Because instead we're going to the movies, and tonight at 7:00PM (And Again At 8:45PM) You're Getting To See The United States Television Premiere Of The First Film Starring Everyone's Favorite Knucklehead Ninja....

NARUTO MOVIE ONE TALKBACK!

Japanese Title: "Naruto The Movie: Snow Princess's Book Of Ninja Arts"
English Title: "Naruto The Movie: Ninja Clash In The Land Of Snow"

This is a movie based off a Shonen Anime. In other words it has no REAL Impact on the series either way. I suppose the only thing you have to know about the series is it does take place after the 100th episode. Now let's move on to the fun stuff...

Kakashi and his team (Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura) are given a mission to guard a famous actress Fujikaze Yukie as she travels to snow country. What they don't know is that she is in fact the real Princess of the Snow country. But they're about to find out as they have to protect her from a group of rouge ninja who want something from Yuki which will unlock Snow Country's treasure. Will Naruto and the others be able to protect the princess and her treasure or will this end up as one snow job they never should of taken?

(Note Spoiler Marks on them for your protection. I don't care if I'm overzealous and overprotective of character spoilers: it's just the way I feel they should be, that's all. Oh and though I normally don't do full bios for "filler" characters, since this is an actual movie I"ll sort of make an exception).

Naruto Uzumaki (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): Naruto is the main protaginst of this show, and OAV. The "Number One Hyperactive Ninja"s main goal is to become the greatest hokage the hidden leaf village has ever had and gain the respect of everyone. He's fought some pretty tough opponents in his past (and mastered some pretty powerful jutsu along the way) and is now in for the fight of his life, or at least that's what the dubbers would have you belief, against the rouge Ninja in the Snow Village. Will this prankster be able to save the day or will he just wind up in the cold? And will Naruto's attidue rub off on the princess like it has every other character in the series to change them for the better? See and find out.

Sasuke Uchida (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): The brilliant genin and Second Sharrigan user of Team 7 and one of the two living Uchida, Sasuke is an avenger with a mission: Get strong enough to beat his brother Itachi. Sasuke may of lost against Itachi several episodes ago, but his wounds are healed and he's ready to go against these rouge snow ninja. Will Sasuke be able to inflict some burn onto these villians or will he also wind up in the cold?

Sakura Haruno (Age: 12, Allegiance: Leaf): A female ninja (aka kunochi) in training with a huge crush on Sasuke (and growing tolearnce/like for Naruto) Sakura is the last of the three member squad of Team 7. She is the weakest of the team but with a talent for chakra control and seeing through genjutsu she does seem to be in her own way getting stronger. See perhaps how strong as she fights against the Snow Ninja. But will she actual be effectual in a battle for once or wind up again the "useless stump" of the group?

Kakashi Hatake (Age: 27, Allegiance: Leaf) The Jonin in charge of squad Seven. Before Naruto, Saskue and Sakura, Kakashi had never led a squad, with no one able to pass his survival test. He places a strong value in friendship and teamwork and most of his friends had died a long time ago. He leads this mission against the rouge ninja in Snow Country, but will even his Sharrigan and Lightning Blade be enough to stop these tough villians and help save they're client...

Fujikaze Yukie (Age: 20s, Allegiance: Snow) The princess of the Snow Country is also known as a famous actor who starred in various movie Naruto and others have seen. She is hiding a lot of secrets (The Princess thing for example) but she's going to need to grow to survive. Espically against those snow ninja I keep on talking about...

Doto Kazahana (Age: Probably 20s, Allegiance: Snow and To Himself) Leader Of The Band Of Rouge Ninjas (Including Himself and three others. Hmmm that makes four in all against our four heroes. Pretty concidental huh?) who wants the power of the treasure to himself and his team-mates. However Naruto and co aren't about to let him have that. But will they be able to stop them? Probably but find out and see.

OTHER CHARACTERS: This being a movie there's sure to be a bunch of them. But most just side roles of little interest to the plot/not important enough to be listed up on the big board.

Okay even if this is a movie, no spoilers on future episodes AND future movies if you can help it. I don't think this will be as much of a problem then in regular epsiode talkback threads but still I'd appreciate it if you "kept it clean" as it were.

NOTE ONE: There's a repeat of Episode 102 tonight at 10:30. Next week Naruto returns to it's regular time (repeat of 102 again at 8:30, and new 103 at 9:00PM). It seems some of Toonami is staying the same (the later half at least) but we've yet to be fully confirmed about the full schedule for next week yet. Soon though. Like at most a little over a day soon.

NOTE TWO: This Movie first aired three years ago in Japan and at the beginning of the summer/late spring for it's offical US Premiere (In select theathres). As well as being avilable on DVD starting last month. So you might of already seen it but I'm sure a lot of you haven't.

Seeing It Or Not Though, If You come to the talkback talk about the movie and enjoy!

"Naruto the Movie": "Ninja clash in the land of snow" Movie Talkback

Well Naruto the movie is here =O and its has ninjas.. yeah... lots of ninjas..

Story: Kakashi orders Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura to watch a movie before their big mission. After the movie Naruto and the gang see the actress from the movie being chased!Naruto and the gang help her out and when they return to Kakashi he tells them about their next mission which is..

To escort the actress they just helped to the snow country to film a movie.. but it wont be easy since their seems to be snow ninjas after them now.

Characters:

Naruto: The number one knucklehead ninja has his own movie at last. And he is a huge fan of the actress they have to escort but I dont think he is going to get a autograph..

Sasuke: Sasuke is the survivor of the Uchia clan and posses the sharingan. Sasuke will probably have a good role in this movie(I really cant say anything else nothing much to say about Sasuke since this is a movie talkback )

Sakura: Sakura is probably the smartest one in the group and besides Kakashi she nos the most about chakra and such. She is also madly in love with Sasuke for no good reason o_O.

Kakashi: The sensei of group 7 just like Sasuke he also posses the sharingan. With Kakashi helping the gang in this movie this could have a nice big battle :D.

Fujikaze Yukie: Not much to no about her but that she is a actress and Naruto is a big fan of her. What role she plays in the movie you ask? Watch and find out..

Spoiler warning: Ok NO SPOILERS so yeah that means no talking about the ending and such >.>.(speaking of that I forgot the spoiler warning in the title >.>)

Hmm, I wonder if they'll scrunch up the credits, like they do for every movie premiere/encore combination on CN.

Don't be too mad man. It happens to me a lot and I... well I whine and b**** about it but it has happened to me before. Just glad it didn't happen again.

Before I start cheering uncontrabally though something a bit more ON Topic:

In a somewhat surprising move for the Naruto OVA special they did just speed up instead of scrunch the credits. We may get that for the movie. However since It is the only thing pretty much on Toonami this week I think we should expect scrunched up credits to be used. Hopefully not TOO scrunched up though.

Well, typically what CN does when this "premiered-followed-by-an-encore" deal happens is restart the movie while the credits are rolling...

Yeah, it's weird. Don't know if this "rule" applies to Toonami, though.

So, in case they throw in "Rise" like they did for the special, what openings and endings were used on the Japanese version of this movie?

I guess the grids don't have American info about this movie...here's what my Time Warner Cable digital grid says about it:

TV-PG '04 Naruto and his teammates must guard a famous actress who harbors a hidden past. Animated. Naruto the Movie: Ninja Clash in the Land of Snow. Starring Junko Takeuchi, Yuko Kaida, Kazuhiko Inoue. Directed by Tensai Okamura. From Japan. 1 hr., 53 min. Program Type: Movie/Action-Adventure. New.

Guess CN is playing the Japanese version. Hope it's subtitled. :p

Let me ask you this, will the scruched credits disrupt the viewing of the movie from begging to end?

1. There's no such thing as an Japanese version, a dub is just voices dubbed over original voices.

2. They're not going to show it subtitled.

I'm sure everyone will bash the dub of this movie and then bash it for being a filler.

I wish a happy 83rd birthday to Michael Bell.

Both are tied with 1 vote each. I'll be tiebreaker and pick Tamaranean Dance Club to move to the next round. The next matchup is A Gift For Dad. It's between "Present Tense" from The Loud House and "The Other Side: The Tournament" from Craig Of The Creek.
I have a question about ratings. Those ratings for a shows that we see, do they show just how much viewers watched the whole episode of the show or they include also people that randomly tuned in for few minutes before they turned off TV/changed the channel?
what went horribly, HORRIBLY wrong with HBO Max's The Prince?
