This game is so fun. Imagine the possibilities! Gizmo vs The Mask, Emmet vs godzilla, Huckleberry Hound vs Tony Soprano. Now tell me you wouldn’t kill to see that! However i do have a few problems. For one, outside of online matches, there’s not much to do, grinding takes way too long, and the ost is mediocre, but other than those hiccups, this game is great! Highly recommend if you love fighting games and/or Warner bros! (P.S. the developers have said anyone can get in if the fans want it. My hope is Eric Cartman.)

This game has been much funner than I expected it to be! I am playing just the free version right now but I'm considering dropping some money on the game depending on the upcoming season. While I don't think this game is a Smash Bros. killer the fights have been really fun even though I'm still learning the controls. If WB properly supports this game I can see it having a long life!

"MultiVersus Relaunches May 28, Now With Jason"

"Warner Bros’ MultiVersus was released into open beta a little less than two years ago. A Smash Bros clone that exists solely to hype WB IP, the game followed a pattern similar to other Smash clones that have been tried: a surge of popularity, followed by a slow die-off of interest. It seems only the original Smash Bros has true staying power.

But since MultiVersus was only a beta back then, it has a second chance to impress with the launch of the full game next week. The date was announced alongside a full trailer that reveals some new fighters that weren’t in the beta game. The most interesting addition: Jason Voorhees!

Yup, even though the rights to Friday the 13th are kind of a mess, that somehow didn’t stop Jason from showing up here (as for the Friday the 13th survival party game, that’s never coming back). We don’t know what his moves are, or if he has his machete, but he’ll be part of the lineup on launch day, along with two other newcomers: Joker (voiced by Mark Hamill, apparently before retirement) and Agent Smith from The Matrix (who joins later in the season)."

"The Powerpuff Girls Join Multiversus"

"WB Games’ next update to Multiversus will hit September 17 and it looks like the demand for three round-headed super kindergartners will at last be answered. (And yes, snarkers, people still play this game. Maybe it’s not the Smash-level smash WB was hoping for, but it generates enough interest and cash to keep going, at least for now.)

While everyone expected the Powerpuff Girls eventually, no one figured you would be controlling all three of them at the same time. They work like the multi-character fighters in Smash in that each move is executed by a different member of the team. To give them a familiar place to fight, a Townsville stage will be added to the menu as well

This addition is actually two sets of characters in one: the Powerpuffs’ alternate variants are the Rowdyruff Boys! It’s amazing how those characters stuck in people’s minds despite appearing in just one episode (out of 78!) They still generate fanart, they were in that crappy live-action CW pilot that thankfully didn’t go to series, and now they’re here as well."

Guess our dear Mr. Paltridge must've missed the episode of PPG where Him brought the Boys back. (Along with all of their subsequent appearances thereafter.)

y;know, i was just gonna mention that, but then again, those were from the show's sluggish years so uh

...ye
(at least that propelled 'em up a bit more)

(on another note, has velma gotten a newer skin to complement shaggy's yet? those white eyes still don't rly look good on her IMO)

Hey, obviously only episodes prior to the "Powerpuff GIrls Movie" (in 2002) count! (it was kinda downhill after that....).

EDIT: I was saying that teasingly, but I checked: It's Seasons 1 thru 4 that aired from November 1998 to May 2002. The movie was in June 2002. And Season 5 and 6 were spread out, from December 2002 to March 2005. The "RowdyRuff Boys" came back in an episode of Season 5.

And....yeah, my memory doesn't remember much of anything about the 5th and 6th seasons. I think it's Seasons 1 through 4 that everyone remembers. It's strange, the franchise really died down after the movie in 2002. I think it's another example of a show that didn't make the transition well from "Cartoon Cartoon Fridays" to "Fridays" in 2003.
