I'm finding it surprising just how this Momokun controversy has gone viral all over Youtube, even big anime channels like Anime America covering her. Essentially, she is famous for being a famous ill-behaved cosplayer who feels up random guys and gals and shouts racist slurs. Why is she going viral? Isn't giving her this much publicity probably not going to dissuade her. My theory is the fact that a woman is behaving badly and that has novelty factor when the stereotype is men being con creeps. Anyway, its seems harrassment at cons is still a big problem, although nowhere near as bad as the 2010-2014 yaoi paddle era.
