Like Runaways, not every teenage who gets powers decides to become a costumed vigilante like Peter Parker.
True, though the difference between Cloak and Dagger and the Runaways is the former actually do have costumes in the comics...

Although admittedly I guess it does help to make Spider-Man even more unique as far as the MCU is concerned (not that this show will probably have much bearing on the MCU).

Yeah, true, but were they teenagers when they suited up, too?

We'll see. Like Jessica Jones and Runaways, there's the mystery of how they get their powers. And with the Roxxon sign looming and we all know of their dubious activities date back to the early 20th century.

I'm pretty sure they were. At least around the New Warriors age spectrum, as I recall.

Roxxon is the real connecting tissue of the MCU :p.

^Interesting, so a Roxxon refinery explodes off the shores of New Orleans on the night of the crash when they actually first met. Hmm. On the surface, a nod to Katrina but...

And a Wonder Con interview, about updating the comics and choosing New Orleans. They cite the early Bill Mantlo series as an influence.
Nice to know the actors are enthused about wearing the costumes :D.

Entertainment Weekly revealed Jaime Zevallos and Emma Lahana will play Father Delgado and Detective Brigid O’Reilly, respectively. They also have the first images of the characters.
First up, Zevallos joins the new Freeform series as Father Delgado, a school counselor and priest who’s described as someone who’s “constantly seeking redemption in spite of the fact that he’s not sure that he deserves it. Oppressed by the collar, he leads more through words than example, as he still struggles daily with the life he has chosen.” Father Delgado will be a rock for Tyrone, one of the two teens at the center of the Cloak & Dagger story.
Next up, Lahana will play Detective Brigid O’Reilly. According to her character description, “Detective Brigid O’Reilly is accustomed to working in a man’s world, but she isn’t looking to be ‘one of the guys.’ Her New York sensibilities have hardened her from being too friendly or open, setting her apart from her Louisiana counterparts. Brigid believes in justice and doesn’t think that anyone should be above it, including other cops. Especially other cops…”

I'm rewatching Justice League and I'm sort of weird ed out how old Superman looked in the earlier seasons
Yeah... I just watched the end of Peepoodo... And I wish I hadn't. If I'm considered a wuss for liking Milo Murphy's Law. Big City Greens, Summer Camp Island, Clarence, Craig of the Creek, Hilda, Harvey Beaks, Harvey Street Kids and even The Loud House - not to mention LPS (2012, 2018) SO MUCH MORE because at least those shows have some constraint to not be this gross - then I could care less what you think of me.
Yeah I'm probably not coming back
I was just about to say "Where's Gridman?" on that Crunchyroll streaming thread.
DISH had recent upgrades on the 61.5 orbital slot this early morning. My signal strengths got increased and transponders were moved to another.

How Cartoon Network and TBS moved to other transponders. :P
