Josh Stewart (Shooter), Floriana Lima (Supergirl) and Giorgia Whigham (Scream) have been cast as new series regulars for the upcoming second season of Marvel’s The Punisher on Netflix.

Stewart will play John Pilgrim, a man whose calm exterior belies a ruthless interior. Despite having left behind a life of violence, circumstances will force him to use his old skills and bring him into Frank Castle’s world. Lima will portray Krista Dumont, a smart, compassionate and driven psychotherapist for military veterans. Whigham will play Amy Bendix, a street-smart grifter with a mysterious past.

That's what the network ordered, but the writer's seem to be falling short on giving us decent pace throughout. Besides, it feels like there are some unsaid mandates they are forced to adhere to.

3/1: A new Jessica Jones season 2 featurette "Empowered" released:

That's what the network ordered, but the writer's seem to be falling short on giving us decent pace throughout. Besides, it feels like there are some unsaid mandates they are forced to adhere to.

Perhaps there's some facet of the deal that many years from now, Netflix will have them up for syndication maybe at a late night slot on FX (or whatever it'll be renamed). So hence, the shows definitely earn a mature rating but enough to pass to air on certain outlets. In theory.

EDIT: 4 new character descriptions for Punisher season 2:

Sheriff Bonnen - an authoritative male in his early 40s.
Deputy Willis - a female, 33-37, who is a good cop but looks out for #1 above all else.
Deputy Creamer - a 25-28 year old male who is described as optimistic and professional.
Bob - a male in his early 50s who works at the desk at the sheriff office.

I always figured the shows would be syndicated on basic cable someday. It's the only logical reason why there are no F-bombs or nipples on a TV-MA show that has no broadcast restrictions.

Hmmm. I halfway suspected that. Too expensive and it makes more logical sense to continue the solo series. Besides, we can get teamups with Luke and Danny(H4H) and Colleen and Misty (DoD).

Jay Ali joins the cast of Daredevil Season 3:

Ali will play Rahul “Ray” Nadeem, whom Marvel describes as “an honest, but ambitious FBI agent
willing to go to any length for his family.” He joins the returning cast that includes Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, and as Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

March 27th:
