Second The Punisher Trailer is out.

Honestly it's still good. Blood, conspiracies, Frank Castle coming up against his past all the stuff you would want from this series. What I find most interesting though is they FINALLY revealed what the release date of this series is and... it's November 17th 2017. Yeah this time around Marvel is directly cutting into DC by releasing this the same day Justice League drops. That's pretty massive stones I have to say guys. Massive.

No Daredevil Season 1 came out April 10th a full three weeks before age of Ultron. Heck even season two of DD came out about two weeks before Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as usually Marvel tries scheduling these releases at least a week or so away from other major super hero releases of other companies but that obviously isn't the case now. Granted Punisher was originally suppose to release I think this month but that was changed but yeah they are pushing it now for the same date as JL so... thought that was worth commenting on.

10/19: Probably the best trailer of the bunch they've released, imo.

EDIT: That one scene through a local fair seems to imply it's Halloween. If that's so, they skipped forward 6 months in-universe since Defenders is about March 2016 and Punisher would be the first Netflix series to take place after the Sokovia Accords have been implemented. Could explain the amount of agencies looking into Frank like how we saw in Homecoming when agents tried to arrest Toomes on the ferry.

10/21: The Las Vegas shooting and other current events have not led to any new edits of Punisher.

Releasing Punisher the same day as Justice League opens in theatres will be a mistake IMPO.

Now, my bro & I will see JL on 11/18, then convene for a viewing party at his house the next day for episodes 1 and 2 of Punisher, and meet every other week until mid-February, as his roommate can't sit down for more than 2 Netflix eps at a time. That's how we do things. We're not bingers. Sounds like this will snap Marvel's recent Netflix bad luck streak.

Yeah, but some people who have no film knowledge have not forgiven WB for BvS or Suicide Squad. Granted they may have after WW, but that remains to be seen just yet.

Edit:
D'Nofrio returns as Fisk in DD S3 and the series gets a new showrunner:

10/25: That's a relief they're going with new blood to run DDS3 in light of how DDS2 and Defenders turned out. Though I'm not familiar with Erik Oleson.

10/26: Karen wasn't originally going to be in The Punisher but Lightfoot liked the chemistry. EDIT: Karen poster released.

10/27: Punisher promotional stills released.

DeKnight said he's down to adapt Return of the King for a 6 episode Kingpin series.

10/31: Henwick is in her first month training for Iron Fist season 2.

Micro motion poster released.

11/2: Another Punisher promo tweeted.

You know, with the news that Disney is going to pull the Netflix series over to their streaming service, I do wonder just what will change. I mean they seem to be teasing "Heroes For Hire" and reportedly a tease for Moon Knight in "The Punisher". We know no new content on Netflix, but hopefully they don't leave us hanging for years. Will this new Disney service produce 2-3 series a year?

Yeah, it's all kind of murky now. I read it as all current Marvel TV shows will still be through Netflix so Iron Fist season 2 might be the last one released through Netflix. Or will it be Punisher or Jessica Jones season 2? Did they say when DSS starts or is assumed in 2019 as well?

They're already working on a new TV show for the DSS that's for 2019. So if it stays on Netflix then in theory Jessica Jones S2 for March 2018, Luke Cage S2 for July/August 2018, and Daredevil S3 for October/November 2018 then Iron Fist S2 for March 2019 then all new digital TV shows are through DSS. starting with this mystery title.

Then the question of will Runaways be pulled over to DSS or will it stay on Hulu for a hypothetical season 2?

And yeah, in terms of content will the Netflix shows be pulled back towards PG-13 territory if they get yanked to DSS?

Do you mean they will still run those shows on Netflix? I mean, yeah, see it is kinda up in the air. I do know they will pull Netflix stuff and begin their new service in 2019. No launch date or pull date though. Daredevil is the latest series we hear they're currently working on. So I assume that just might be their final series from Netflix on the new service. Who knows we might get Luke2, JJ2, and DD3 to end the run next year.

So even though they will drop all Disney content in say Jan 2019. The Netflix series may run until say May 2019? Very possible.

11/13: Collider has a review for Punisher (1st 6 eps). CBR also has a review. The latter is a bit more spoilery. But reviews seem to be mixed - some say brilliant, some say boring.

Punisher clip of Karen Page trying to talk Frank down.

11/14: Punisher clip of Frank chasing Dogs of War.

There was a Marvel mandate that no Defender appears in Punisher.

11/18: Lightfoot currently doesn't know if there's going to be a Punisher season 2 (they really started asking him that already?).

11/20: Luke Cage season 2 has wrapped filming. I think it might just be a hiatus party then they resume next year because the show was slated to end filming in March. No way they can be that ahead.

11/21: Off the top of his head, Lightfoot name drops Barracuda and O'Brien as some villains he'd like to use if got the chance for Punisher season 2.

11/27: Wilson Bethel joins Daredevil season 3 cast as "an FBI agent who will play a critical role in the conflict between Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk".

12/1: Lady Gorgon might appear in Iron Fist season 2. Character description, a series regular, reads "a chameleon adapt at playing roles, she inhabits the part that best fits the mission".

12/4: It seems the Netflix shows will stay on Netflix.

12/5: Alice Eve joins cast of Iron Fist season 2.

12/6: The U.S. Blu-Ray release of Luke Cage Season One will be December 12.

12/7: EW released a still for Jessica Jones season 2 of Kilgrave whispering something to Jessica. I believe we saw this scene photographed during filming.

12/8: 2nd still and synopsis for Jessica Jones season 2
New York City private investigator Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) is beginning to put her life back together after murdering her tormenter, Kilgrave. Now known throughout the city as a super-powered killer, a new case makes her reluctantly confront who she really is while digging deeper into her past to explore the reasons why.
12/9: Jessica Jones season 2 will come out on March 8, 2018.

12/12: Punisher has been renewed for a second season.

12/18: First photos of Iron Fist season 2 filming but nothing spoilery. Just Jones getting out of a truck and Jones and Henwick standing in a street.

12/23: D'Onofrio gushes about Daredevil season 3.

12/27: Working title of Punisher season 2 will be "Crime".

1/3: Daredevil season 3 is filming in NY. Some sort of upscale hotel shoot. And Fisk factors into it. Protestors with signs saying Fisk should stay in prison.

Rosario Dawson will return as Claire in DD Season 3 and Iron First season 2. IF is also filming in NY.

1/18: Ritter shared a bts photo of an ADR session.

1/22: EMPIRE has a new still of Jessica Jones pushing an armored vehicle.

1/23: In EMPIRE, Rosenberg talks about influences for Jessica Jones season 2 and some stills, including a first look at Janet McTeer's character.

1/25: Joanne Whalley joins Daredevil Season 3 cast as Sister Maggie.

1/29: New stills from Jessica Jones season 2 of Jeri, Trish, and Malcolm and also Jessica chained up at NYPD.

2/7: lmao, Jessica's reply to the Asian guy. Only on Netflix. But hmm, this looks like she's going to learn more about IGH. But the bit about her being revived from the dead instantly made me think of AOS' GH-325.

2/8: 3 new character breakdowns might be pointing to some Ennis story arcs influencing Punisher season two.

Netflix shows will stay on Netflix after Disney Streaming Services launches.

2/9: Coker talks Luke Cage season 2. It's all done but some last minute edits could come up. Confirms Mustafa Shakir as Bushmaster but won't divulge who Gabrielle Dennis plays. The music will be mostly blues and reggae.

2/10: The late Reg. E Cathy will be in Luke Cage season 2.

I need my Internet back...the past week has been so boring and holidays break just started for me
At first, I thought Brian Hohlfeld working on many shows Nicole Dubuc worked on was just a coincidence . It turns out they're married. I previously thought the Paul Dini / Misty Lee marriage had the largest age gap (he was born in 1957 while she was born in 1976), but this is the one that's larger (he was born in 1957 while she was born in 1978, making 21 years). I'm not complaining, but this is surprising.
Into the Spider-Verse is definitely one of the better animated films I've seen this year. I really enjoyed its comicbooky art style and animation. I wouldn't mind a sequel.
