If they're waiting for Mandalorian season 2 to finish and keep the Friday premiere spot, that would only leave December 25 for WandaVision to premiere this year.

(It would be kind of cool if both this and Wonder Woman 1984 are released on the same date.)

Well, yeah, the government want him to be their new Captain America, not something independent. He probably won't be US Agent until he finds something to do after Sam gets the role .
