EDIT: Neil Gaiman revealed he asked Marvel TV about making a Marvel 1602 TV series but they weren't interested.
Excuse me, I'm going to go into the corner now and start sobbing.

The two writers — who also wrote Captain America: The First Avenger, Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Thor: The Dark World for Marvel Studios — will be appearing in Hall H on Friday, July 19 at 10 a.m., in a panel moderated by Jeff Goldsmith, publisher of Backstory Magazine and host of The Q&A with Jeff Goldsmith podcast.
I could see them doing something with 1602 via the "What If" cartoon .EDIT: Neil Gaiman revealed he asked Marvel TV about making a Marvel 1602 TV series but they weren't interested.
Never read that comic, does it serve best as a film or series?I could see them doing something with 1602 via the "What If" cartoon .
I think the original story would work well for film, but I don't see Marvel Studios going for that kind of Elseworlds story.Never read that comic, does it serve best as a film or series?

D'oh!Yeah it's obvious. Sony is a little overkill. I think the only Spider-Man crossover promotion I hadn't seen was Spider-Man bandaids. Though don't forgive Disney, cause they'd do that too.

Well, if any Superhero should be advertising bandaids, it would probably be Spidey .D'oh!

It does kind of make you wonder how long they'll go before covering the origin in some form. I know they seem to be going out of there way not to deal with it, but it seems like something they have to address at some point.Watts confirmed Uncle Ben exists but his status seems to be kept ambiguous for now...
When they first said that was Peter in Iron Man 2, I became a little concerned they next reveal was Ben got killed during that expo. But yeah, caught me by surprise, it seems like they might be toying with that he's still alive. It does kind of make you wonder how long they'll go before covering the origin in some form. (Probably when they feel comfortable not needing to address Iron Man as much).
I would love to see Dennis Quaid as Ben. Perhaps they might do the S.H.I.E.LD. agents like in ASM.Watts confirmed Uncle Ben exists but his status seems to be kept ambiguous for now...
I get that they want their version of Spider-Man to be different from past versions but I feel there's only so much you can stretch and change things without just making him a completely different character. When they first said that was Peter in Iron Man 2, I became a little concerned they next reveal was Ben got killed during that expo. Ah, Marvel Studios at Hall H. Good memories .
Maybe even get some actor reveals and concept art to sink our teeth into .Awesome, in 2 weeks, presumably we'll officially know the first batch of movies in Phase 4.

I bet they're saving the next batch of Phase 4 movies until D23 next month. Or maybe even Comic Con next year. Which one do you think sounds more likely?Agreed i hope we get to see what will Phase 4 will bring us
