That would be George Feltenstein, WB librarian and head of Warner Archive. He is limited to the shorts that haven't yet appeared on Blu-ray and had recent HD remasters commissioned for (HBO) Max/MeTV/(HBO) Max Latin America and other outlets.Still wondering who is this so called “collector” that chose the cartoons for these DVD’s.
My comment was a joke boy, ya missed it. Went right past ya.That would be George Feltenstein, WB librarian and head of Warner Archive. Good to hear. The prints currently in circulation look so faded and dull.1945’s Peck Up Your Troubles, which features new restoration.
Interesting to note that those 2 will be part of the extras alongside the standard 25 (technically making the cartoon count 27). Still, I really like how they're doing that, so people won't complain about the double-dips.Two other shorts, 1960’s Lighter Than Hare (previously released on the Hare Extraordinaire DVD) and 1955’s Stork Naked (previously released on the Frustrated Fowl DVD) will officially receive proper formats, as opposed to widescreen.
Muscle Tussle will be on Collector’s Choice volume 4Oh please let Muscle Tussle be on there so I can get rid of the unfunny "comedy" Trouble Along the Way that has it as a bonus cartoon.
Speedy knows that already:Muscle Tussle will be on Collector’s Choice volume 4
Nice list. The ones I'm most stoked about are Henhouse Henery (about flippin' time), D'Fightin' Ones (a personal favorite of mine), Holiday For Drumsticks (more Davis- yay!), Muscle Tussle (see earlier post), Double or Mutton (now we just need A Sheep in the Deep and Woolen Under Where and the S&R filmography will be complete), Hopalong Casualty (earthquake pills), and of course the corrected ratio versions of Stork Naked and Lighter Than Hare.
