I wonder if that early artwork with some kind of base on the moon could be too much of a spoiler, since we never saw it again in either the sneek peak or the trailers or any other promotional material.

Though from Crisis on Two Earths, not unfounded for old designs to be recycled. Hmm. Would the JL have an additional base on the Moon? Hmm.

Metropolis, Earth,
April 16th is my birthday too!

Love the longer runtime!
Brilliant!
I am so excited for this!
I like the animation, designs, and am quite pleased to hear my favorite actors voicing my favorite characters again.

@b.t. Thank you for jumping back in to your DCAU, and thank you for being you. :)
*I’m unsure if the cigars comment was a jest or not.... but if not a joke, I’m very happy for you mate. Please keep doing what you do for a few dozen decades more. ;)

Oddly enough, I can't think of any DC DTV that's actually had a fight on the moon. Would be cool if they had a fight there.

In JL: Crisis On Two Earths, The Crime Syndicate base is also on the moon and the Justice League went there and fought them!

Eric Carrasco mentions Dwayne McDuffie as a major factor in writing the movie. Talk about fitting.

Fitting that a ostensible return to the DCAU Justice League would be inspired by Dwayne McDuffie. He was just as important and valuable to the cartoon and why fans loved it as Bruce Timm :).

I didn't know who he was back then but DMD was probably who made Justice League really work for me. He's been my favorite Justice League writer in TV or movies. He's a very good source of inspiration IMHO.

M'gann is a character I never expected to see in the Timm style but the design does look really nice. I wonder if we'llsee or hear her backstory here, and if it will be different to any she's previously had.

At the very least I expect she'll mention "Uncle J'onn" once or twice :).

Super Metroid on the SNES turns 30 today in North America.
The sub-only anime releases in North America are the invention of the 2010s.
Not all of Family Guy has aged well (and he knows this - hell, he's friends with the PTC president now) but I genuinely think Seth MacFarlane is a really good guy.

Imagine a broadcast TV network giving someone who worked at the Golden Age of Cartoon Network the opportunity to worked on a show, and doing 8 interviews, only to completely ghosted him for weeks for absolutely no reason.

Try to wrap your head around on that one, folks.

Seriously. Explain that to me, Memorable Entertainment Television? :/
Didn't notice that the site was back...

I'll start off by saying X-Men 97 has been a blast to watch. As someone who grew up exposed to the films and cameos on other shows, it was definitely a different treat seeing how both iterations of the franchise handle the characters and their world.
Professor X's speech in today's episode was powerful ... nuff said.
