Wonder Con is March 25-27 I think so it would be in WBE's best interest to have their releases follow what is likely the premiere of the movie there.

On the Bad Blood preview: Hmm, so Luthor, what looked like Weather Wizard and the one one the floating missile launcher (that one made me chuckle) attacking what looks like the Hall of Justice. Maybe the JL split off S.T.A.R. Labs since that area they occupied was probably temporary at best. Though it seems strange for Luthor to be attacking them so soon. It looks like that's the 'botched mission' mentioned in PR. Got more interesting that Starfire is the leader. After watching Bad Blood and this movie, seems the 2016 slate's theme is surrogate families and control.

The only thing that made me 'eye roll' was more of Superman-Wonder Woman dating and him comforting her (can't be the other way around?) but I guess they're supposed to mirror what Robin and Raven are going through. <shrug> But I'd still rather see what the others are doing off the clock, too. We only got a small slice for a few of them in Throne. Really highlights the need for solo movies and shorts. Was hoping there would be another short on this release but oh well.

Justice League vs. Teen Titans welcomes the Teen Titans to the ever-expanding canon of classic DC Comics characters within the DC Universe Original Movies. When Damian’s over-aggressive tendencies almost destroy a Justice League mission, he is sent to learn teamwork by training alongside the Teen Titans. However, adjusting Damian’s attitude turns out to be the least of the Teen Titans’ troubles as Raven’s satanic, world-conquering father Trigon begins an escape from his inter-dimensional prison. To complete his return, Trigon must have Raven’s assistance – and to accomplish his goal, he spreads his demonic forces across the globe, infiltrating the minds and bodies of the Justice League to do his bidding. To save the universe and prevent a literal hell on Earth, the Teen Titans must rescue – or defeat – the Justice League, and intern Trigon for all eternity.

The voice cast for Justice League vs. Teen Titans includes several actors reprising their recent Justice League roles – Jason O’Mara (Complications, Terra Nova) as Batman, Jerry O’Connell (Crossing Jordan, Stand By Me) as Superman, Rosario Dawson (Sin City, Rent) as Wonder Woman, Shemar Moore (Criminal Minds) as Cyborg and Christopher Gorham (Covert Affairs, Ugly Betty) as Flash. Sean Maher (Firefly/Serenity, Batman: Bad Blood) also returns as Nightwing, as does Stuart Allan (Batman vs. Robin) as Robin/Damian. Making their Teen Titans voiceover debuts are Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story, Wicked City) as Raven, Jake T. Austin (Wizards of Waverly Place, The Fosters) as Blue Beetle, Brandon Soo Hoo (Tropic Thunder, From Dusk Til Dawn: The Series) as Beast Boy and Kari Wahlgren (Phineas and Ferb, Legion of Superheroes) as Starfire. Jon Bernthal (The Walking Dead, Daredevil) takes the villainous center stage as Trigon.

Produced by Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment, Justice League vs. Teen Titans is directed by Sam Liu from a screenplay by Bryan Q. Miller and Alan Burnett based on a story by Miller. James Tucker is Supervising Producer. Burnett is also co-Producer. Sam Register is Executive Producer.

“Warner Bros. Home Entertainment is thrilled to bring the Teen Titans into the fold of amazing characters within the DC Universe Original Movies,” said Mary Ellen Thomas, WBHE Vice President, TV Family, Animation Marketing. “This all-new film provides the Teen Titans with the perfect stage – alongside and against the Justice League – for a thrilling adventure that fans will truly enjoy.”

Featurette's on the Titans, Raven, and Trigon sound cool and I hope they're good to decent documentaries (though I don't think they have that much material to use for Trigon by comparison) :).

I assume the sneak peak is going to be for The Killing Joke.

I wonder what episodes from the "DC Comics Vault" they'll pick out? "Nevermore" would make a lot of sense ;).

I would guess Teen Titans "The End" Part 3 and Young Justice "Auld Acquaintance"

It grinds my gears this and Bad Blood have no commentary reels but you get what you get.

It also occurred to me, the preview did note this as the Teen Titans' first test or whatever. In this canon, it makes sense they prove themselves by probably shoving a giant supervillain and his fat head back through a portal. <cough>War<cough>

2/3: JLvsTT confirmed for Wonder Con but no date finalized yet.
http://www.comic-con.org/toucan/justice-league-vs-teen-titans-world-premiere-exclusively-wondercon-2016

2/5: From the IGN trailer, on thing was bugging me and I finally had a chance to sit down and rewatch some of Son of Batman. And yep, in this JLvsTT trailer, there was one bit of Robin fighting two ninjas - they're Deathstroke goons. While that room is likely a fighting hologram simulation in the tower, nice touch to call back to that. Made an image edit, left is from Son and right is from the trailer.

Given Damian's comments in Bad Blood, you would expect him to pick up the sexual tension between Kory and Dick, or at least assume their relationship isn't as platonic as they're presenting it :p.

Cool design for Weather Wizard, even before he gets possessed by Trigon .

If Weather Wizard is there, I guess the League mission Damian hijacks is in Central City :).

Whoa, that's one close shave Damian .

It's nice to see Wonder Woman using her lasso and not pulling out her sword given how stab happy she has been in these movies .

Looks like Superman is going to have to deal with Trigon and his possessed servants having magic-based powers, which he's obviously weak against :ack:.

Nice touch with Flash referring to Weather Wizard with a nickname. I guess Flash already has a Rogue's Gallery to deal with in his city.

Hopefully, there's a good balance of the playing field leveled for Superman but not so much he's to Superwimp levels (posts from the days of the Justice League animated series ring in my head).

I hope during the Wondercon panel there's a Q&A where someone asks about the possible founding roster of the Titans, if it's not clarified in the movie itself. I would think there were more original Titans then just possibly Dick as Robin and Starfire, especially since it looks like the rest of the group (including Damian) have only recently joined.

I definitely have my fingers crossed that this does well, especially if it leads to more (and solo) Titans movies, and very happy to see it receive a positive review :D.

And in light of Batman v. Superman and past movies in this line, it's nice to be able to look forward to a little more fun in a DC Superhero movie that's not Lego related :).

Heh, I got a chuckle out of Bourassa wondering which characters he hasn't designed yet at this point. Probably not many :p.

It's kind of neat that most of the VA's for the Titans are at an age where they were able to grow up with the Justice League and Teen Titans cartoons .

I think that was a pretty sufficient description of Damian's character development over the course of the movies. First he comes to understand "justice, not vengeance," now he needs to rein in his attitude and learn to work better with others, even when they're not his father/partner ;).

You won't hear any complaints from me about Starfire being the leader, Mr. Tucker, because it is really cool, though I am definitely curious to see how she got that position (especially when Nightwing is traditionally the leader of the group). It seems to be part of the, as of yet, unexplored history the Titans have in this universe...
