Yet I've heard something about bonus scenes being advertised to be in home video release. Would that be some special feature that they didn't include for whatever reason?

Reread the line under the section titled "The Return of Superman" and your answer will be there.

WB are not going to waste time and money to release his version of Justice League to his cult fans.

I don't think he even finished his version of the film.
That's debatable, imo, because Snyder did all of principle photography until it wrapped in October 2016 then he stepped down during post-production in May 2017 and Whedon took over then the reshoots for 2 or 3 months.

Right. So these people are fighting for an equally BVS messy film? Really?

Well again a movie really isn't finished until it is fully edited and fleshed out within the post production as likely Snyder if he were able to would of likely done his own reshoots of things he filmed (as most movies do have reshoots months after initial principal photography for a variety of reasons, most times being seamless enough most people can't really tell the difference) and laid down how he would of wanted the film to be edited in the final cut. So though a rough cut of Snyder's vision was made, there isn't enough of a full version of it that would really work as a flowing narrative even within a release as a DVD extra. Especially as it's clear at this point WB and the DCEU are likely going to try cutting as many ties from Snyder as possible, thus wouldn't be interested in putting in the extra money or time to get him back to do more "his cut" of the movie. Since yeah like them or not, Snyder was heavy into the post production of Man of Steel and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice where his stamp and fingerprint were all over those movies which is not nearly the case with Justice League.

Right. So these people are fighting for an equally BVS messy film? Really?

Well besides purists who either auotmatically assume or judge the director's cut to be superior regardless of the director's intent or specific ideals with the film, there was a small rabid fanbase for the Snyder DCEU films. Yeah even after Batman v Superman kind of dwindled that count there are some who still exist in the wood work who believe a film more purely from his perspective would of been better. Even when that is pretty clear it wouldn't be the case. I imagine it would be more tonally and narratively consistent (as I'm sure Synder's Justice League movie wouldn't feel the need to retcon the atmosphere and message of the previous DCEU movies as the current JL does) but I personally can't imagine it being a better movie even though I'm sure some people would obviously say different.

This is Zack Snyder's vision for what he wanted to do with Justice League.

Question about the Target Exclusive:

I picked up the Target exclusive with the book, but it doesn't say anything on the Target branded label about extra scenes. The bonus is the book. However there IS a sticker on the box that advertises bonus scenes. But it's also on the regular Blu-Ray for three dollars less. Are these the Target exclusive scenes on both Blu-Rays? Why aren't they marked with the Target seal? Is Target the only place that sells the Blu-Ray with Bonus scenes? Are the scenes the same on the book Blu-Ray as the regular one? Should I go back and exchange my book Blu-ray which I have not yet opened for one three dollars less? Will that still have the same scenes?
