Talismans- Based off of the Chinese Zodiac, these 12 pieces of stone offer their user unbelievable power. Super speed. Immortality. Heat beam eye blasts. Archaeologist turned super agent Jackie Chan, inevitably with Jade (his niece), must track them down and prevent the Dark Hand from awakening Shen Du Shendu a dragon demon of immense power.

Jackie Chan Adventures finish it's (hopefully not limited) Toonami run this week, with the second episode "The Power Within". When Jade accidentally swallows the Rooster Talisman, will the Dark Hand be able to get it back, or will she be stuck with the power of the Rooster within?

It's a bad day indeed.

This is the Official Toonami Talkback Thread for Jackie Chan Adventures, airing Saturday, April 24th at 9.5. Kids love it!

Yes, because ya know, the complete value of a show is only the sum amount of non-edits. Not the fact it's close to 100 episodes with a great continuity...

Great continuity? I once saw an episode where they went to the north pole to save santa from an evil wizard...FRIKKIN SANTA!

how is that "great continuity"? and anyway the edits point was a joke, not ment to be taken too seriously, (hence the rasping face)

Just because an episode has Santa doesn't mean it isn't in continuity. What's so bad about Santa?
The episode served no continuity to the main story whatsoever, it was childish, ridicolous and generally in an insult to anyone over the age of 8. I dont have a problem iwth the show itself, its just that it hsould be on miguzi or something, not the new "cutting edge more mature toonami" even if it is for a couple of weeks.

This is a great show and all but the filler get really annoying, like in season two, they have the sky demon episode, then with only 2 episodes to go they show about eight filler episodes, then finish the saga, then show a bunch more filler episodes.

I didn't get a bunch of Perfect Grade Gundam Models last Christmas. Santa doesn't exist.

Santa's been saved by both Jackie Chan and the Power Rangers.
Both were in-continuity.

And when I say JCA has great continuity, I mean IT HAS GREAT CONTINUITY. Filler (Which is questionable, because it's not really padding an original story, say, like DBZ) is still great and in-continuity.

Are you implying that JCA and Power Rangers take place in the same universe?

No, JCA and MMPR aren't, but both heroes have saved their respective Santas in-continuity.

The only in-continuity shows with MMPR is Dr. Who and TMNT: The Next Mutation. Not even Big Bad Beetleborgs, VR Troopers, or even Masked Rider (Though, there IS a Masked Rider in the PR-verse).

Um, what's with the super-short custom intro? And they made a new title card... what the hell?

My favorite show on the block... punked.

youtube Nickelodeon above banner STILL reads as That New Thursday Nights.. it may be a matter of time to remove that banner since there's no new episodes of Lay Lay and Dylan this time.
