Miraculous Ladybug was sold to Nick (and later KidsClick) in the US despite it being commissioned by Disney Europe.

Disney UK used to air Eddie McDowd and Caitlin's Way. Nick UK also used to air Rotten Ralph, which mentioned Disney in its credits.

Here, Eddie McDowd aired on TVI and Canal Panda and is still fondly remembered.

The main reason why these shows aired on Disney UK was that both shows' international rights were owned by Fireworks Entertainment which was later acquired by ContentMedia who were in turn acquired by KEW Media in early 2017 (https://www.screendaily.com/news/kew-acquires-content-media-corp/5114522.article):

Over here, both shows (lectored!) had only two runs in TVP2 in years 2003-2004 during the unbranded "Dwójka Dzieciom" block on weekdays at ca. 07:15 in the morning. TVP2 aired only the first 20 eps. of Eddie McDownd and first 26 eps. of "Caitlin's Way". The former show later aired in Poland on KidsCo CEE (only the first season) and ZigZap (all episodes). Both shows aired in those channels also in voiceover versions.

I believe Eddie McDowd aired subtitled on Canal Panda. It was dubbed on TVI. This licensing situation reminds me of Lizzie McGuire, which I thought was sold by Disney worldwide.

The cover photo of Nick HD+'s Facebook page still shows Cat Leo from over 1 year ago. They recently hid the Nick HD+ page on the Nick India website!
