Since last week we don't have any shorts on the CZ opt out anymore either. Only 5 minutes of ads. Which is good, because it means the channel is making money. But some graphic variety would be nice. I want to finally see an ad opt out ident saying "reklama" like in Poland and new idents in general.

I wish there was an abundance of ads like Nick ES... but it seems that with it being available on only one provider, it seems to be impossible.

It seems that the morning ratio of Studio 100 shows has been reduced to an hour at best. Also we have the return of the live-action adaptation of Lola and Virginia on our feed.

Now I hope Spike is also popular enough in Flanders...
(Who am I kidding... Belgians don't like these kind of shows. We like other trash xD)

Never mind! According to Wikipedia, the Spike block on Nickelodeon NL will stay : /
I was hoping it would be replaced with something watchable.

There is no logic here. They could have dropped the block with the new channel and reverted back to TeenNick.

^ Spike 24h will be just for Ziggo costumers so that's why they aren't dropping the block.

Is it even sustainable to have a channel only on one provider? I don't think Spike will take off in Europe as Viacom is hoping. They'd be better investing in The Splat, NickToons, TeenNick or MTV.

Surprising yet very great news. Based on reports Viacom is launching NickToons in Scandinavian countries on February 1st. At first I thought it was a simulcast of German and Dutch verisons, but the press release mentioned sports, so maybe I'm wrong.

And aparently NickToons Turkey started broadcasting on Astra 1M a month ago, but I haven't found a single mention of it, except for the satellite frequency. Aw and a little article talking about a license for it in Czech Republic.

Aw and it's surprising because I though they wanted to push the TeenNick brand more, but I like NickToons better.

Nickelodeon Turkey had the same feed as Nickelodeon Russia for some time, so maybe the programming will be fitting to do a simulcast. And Viasat already has Russian Disney Junior and Disney XD for the Baltic countries so I have hopes (Disney Television is way lazier than Viacom in Russia though)

I think the Turkish channel hasn't launched yet and it's just a test. Now way there's no press release about it. Based on Lyngsat, NickToons South East Asia also appeared on Intelsat 19 approximately at the same time as the Turkish one.

Now that is a huge market. They are really pushing the brand hard, aren't they? Coming for Disney XD's worldwide audience.
Maybe the start of all three new networks will be at the same time. And again, the Scandinavian one is still not there and was reported by Viasat, maybe they have even more audiences planned.
I'm pretty sure the UK branding will be dominant worldwide, but again, the mention of the sports programming was maybe a hint towards Action To The Maxtion

Nick SEA could be reformatted as a live-action channel, they could make NickToons SEA a bit like the extant European feeds.

Scandinavian team used pictures of TMNT, Spongebob and Harvey Beaks for the press release, I hope It won't be like the DE/NL feed, only with 10's toons and some action shows here and there
If the Iberian feed launches, at least we'll get the 90s shows Nick PT's Facebook page keps talking about without even airing them.
Russia marathons the 90's shows all over the Viacom Networks, so if they will have their own verison and not some kind of simulcast they wil definetelly air them. I'm more interested if they will finally dub the shows that never aired over here: Doug, Invader Zim, Chalk Zone, The X's. And I hope they will air the good 00's shows that are usually forgotten, like Mighty B! and Catscratch.
A bit more info about Nicktoons Turkey is available at http://www.rrtv.cz/cz/files/press/TZ_20_16.pdf (they call it Nick Toons).
What kind of deets are there? For some reason my browser doesn't want to translate the PDF file are there some information on programming?

I'm hyped for NickToons if it actually comes here.
