iCarly was by far even more popular AIRC
Frankly, it’s probably for the best that they didn’t pick up iCarly. It’s fresh in the world's mind for… unsavoury reasons, remember? And it is practically the face of *his* tenure at Nick.

But Sam & Cat is from the same company. Sure, the controversies on stage were not that big on that show, but still...

In fact, here in Denmark the Danish public broadcaster used to air iCarly, and with pretty much the exact same dub also used on Nickelodeon!

Here iCarly aired on SIC, in late 2009, amd it was with the same dub that would later air on Nick from April 2010.

Until 2010, live-actions were subtitled under the principle that they were for an older audience that could read properly. Now, in 2025, subtitled content on kids channels is a thing of the past.

iCarly is fairly popular here, it gets reruns every now and then. (and occasionally marathons!)

Wikipedia is for some reason still claiming that the international TV channels division of Paramount Global (now known as Paramount, a Skydance Corporation) is called "Paramount International Networks" like that's its official name.

But I've had very serious trouble locating actual reliable sources (that aren't clearly citing or parroting Wikipedia) to fully verify that Paramount's international TV channel operations outside of the United States (including Nickelodeon, Nick Jr., Nicktoons, MTV, Comedy Central etc.) even legally go by anything other than ViacomCBS Networks International or Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN), even after ViacomCBS's rename to Paramount Global and the subsequent Paramount–Skydance merger.

Well... The MIMIT license for the DTT for Super! is under Paramount Global Italy, if it helps. So the ParGlo name, at least on paper, is used somewhere. (They also still keep the one for VH1, that is long closed now)

The fact that general kids (as in, not preschool) channels are still part-time is insane to me.

yeah I would really like Nickelodeon Germany to have a nick night or Nick comedy type thing again not "MTV+" or Comedy Central+1" or whatever

I really like the pomegranate jam from Fiordifrutta with aloe vera and hibiscus. Is this something that Italians actually eat though?
