Disney Channel UK continuity from September 22, 2006.

There's not much continuity with this video, but it's nevertheless good because it introduces the premiere of High School Musical in September 2006.

There used to be much more continuities leading to that (all the afternoon) with High School Musical celebrities being in London etc. , but it's all gone, and it was in poor PQ anyway.

But you got special menus, stings etc.

It was an interesting period for DC UK, as the continuities looked a bit .. non-British.

Just a menu or ECP at the end of programs, and then no ident before the show itself, except for some determinate events

Yep I'm still alive!

Though I'm not as active as I was before, I still do read this thread from time to time. I really appreciate all of your contribution here. Even if I don't watch DC as much as before (I feel it's been going downhill since like 2017, I'm probably not the only one who feels this way) I'll always keep visiting this thread and stay updated.

@Artan1528 Unfortunately I don't have any recordings left. I used to record the promos using my laptop, but since it's been years since last time I don't have anything saved. Sorry!
Keep up the great work by the way. It's interesting to see how Disney Channel Scandinavia looks these days in terms of graphics etc. Let's hope they'll keep the channel alive here.

You're not alone. I stopped recording Disney Channel in December cause I hate the channel now. You're right, from 2017 it went downhill. Wish you still had some recordings hahah

If someone wants a continuity or something else from the channel in 1080p, just tag me so I can record it

There's a slight chance the ones in Africa are closing down in 2021 and I expected next year. It could be nothing seeing that Disney had an upfront where only one program didn't air on the channel with MultiChoice advertising another again it could be nothing but it's odd how Disney Channel started airing reruns of Gigantasourous in November everything here is just reruns hopefully I get some clarity before the month ends:

That doesn't mean anything, not to be rude or anything but when FOX and Disney XD closed down both channels continued airing new content I mean Asia aired new episodes of Miraculous before closing the station. In the end, I do think the ones in Africa will go off air eventually if Disney is willing to throw all that money away just for Disney+

The only thing I'm curious to know is whether Disney Channel will air Sulphur Springs and Ghostforce as promised.

I recieved confirmation that for the month of November Disney Channel will be airing season 2 of Gabby Duran And The Unsittables and The Owl House alongside DCOM Spin. In the end, I'm still waiting on official documents.

This is the best way to kill your viewership and i noticed all the new stuff coming to Disney Channel repeat in bad timeslots and air very late at 6pm CAT.

So.. Under Wraps airs tomorrow in Scandinavia and they haven't done a single promo, bug, ident or anything else. The last DCOM they aired without promotion was The Swap. A whole year later and with subtitles instead of dub on a Saturday at 12:40pm. They didn't air reruns and we don't even have it on Disney+, even though it has Scandinavian subtitles in other countries.

They will in fact rerun Under Wraps on Sunday, but that's it. Usually whenever a new DCOM airs they rerun it almost everyday the whole week.

We don't even have Halloween idents or anything. Super lame.
