Hunh, it's a DC Animated Movie title afterall. The character designs look the same from the Mortal Kombat Legends animated movies too. Really looking forward to this one!
Yes, the "DC Animated Movie" label does seem to separate this from the DC Universe line. I'm fine with the character designs as long as they don't borrow too much from those Mortal Combat animated films. I find those black squares on the knuckles of the fighters a bit distracting (and frankly stupid looking).

EDIT (08/04): So much for my hopes for the character designs. *sigh*

Sorry Otaku-sempai and Spider-Man, but the confusing labeling continues! From the Injustice sneak peek, click on the thumbnail for a closer look:

Boy, they really can't make their mind up on this one, can they? Guess we'll just have to wait for the press release and cover artwork to see which side of the coin they landed on.

Watching the sneak peak made me really wish they had used the voice cast from the games.

Some of the VA's sounded kind of off to me.

I'm not sure how I feel about Gillian Jacobs' Harley, but Joker, Batman, and Wonder Woman sound good to me (which is a shame considering Janet Varney is stuck with this Wonder Woman).

@James Harvey found a steelbook photo so Idk, it looks like this might be on the DC Animated line, too, not DC Universe (unless DC Universe is being rebranded yet again).

My takeaways from this Steelbook:

- The Fortress of Solitude is going to be important .

- Even the Watchtower looks sinister. If it looked that way before, this Justice League was always going to get messed up .

I wonder if this will be a Crises On Two Earths type story where we will see the regular JL as well.
If they adapt the game story, it would be, but I'm not sure if they'll got that far.

Actually it would be kind of interesting if they brought the "main" Justice League over and they're voiced by the game VA's :p.

Instead of having another Justice League show up, it would be kind of cool if this lead to a cross-over with the Mortal Kombat franchise.

Just a note, the link I posted above isn't working any longer. I'm guessing it was too early to announce but the date might be worth keeping in mind as a rumor at the very least.

This might sound like a controversial take but meh whatever.

Despite my disagreements with a lot of business decisions from Cartoon Network, I have nothing against the network personally. I have more of a problem with the fan base sometimes. They’re more annoying than Nickelodeon haters.

Yes, this terrifying homunculus that resembles Pearl from Steven Universe is an actual, officially licensed thing that was actually made. It's not a bootleg!

And to all those people out there who said "I'm gonna see X thing, to see how bad it sucks", if you know it going to suck, then why would you go see it?

All you're doing is giving the studios money by continuing making more crappy stuff. It's not a good thing, folks. It's not.
I had a Happy Halloween because I spent it watching episodes of my favorite Disney show

"The Ghost and Molly McGee"!

2 hours before Halloween was over in Europe, I reverted the branding to normal.
