How Would You Go About Making A Mickey Mouse Theatrical Movie?

Even though Mickey is considered the mascot of Disney, he's never had a theatrical movie to himself. In theaters, he usually has shorts (or a short film like The Prince And The Pauper) while any movies are usually on the TV or DVD side. I think there was once consideration to have a 75th anniversary movie back in the early 2000s (where he went missing), but that didn't happen.

If there was ever a Mickey Mouse theatrical movie, what would it be about? Who would you get to write and direct it? Drop your ideas below.

It’s root bear & a candy cigar!

I’d remake The General, replacing Keaton with Mickey.
