When it comes to voicing animals, creatures, and monsters, we usually think of 3 voice actors: Frank Welker, Dee Bradley Baker, and Fred Tatasciore. They're the kings when it comes to voicing characters like them since they usually don't talk yet can still give a good deal of emotion. However, there are other times when certain voice actors can do these kinds of vocal effects well even when they're usually known for doing so. That's what this thread is for. Name any times where a voice actor who isn't usually known for animal and creature vocal effects ends up doing this kind of performance, and does it well.
One example I can think of is with the Curious George cartoon. While it of course has Frank Welker in the lead role and Dee Bradley Baker having voiced some animal characters, there are some standout performances. For example, while two of Rob Paulsen's characters are ones he's played before (the down to earth toy store owner Mr. Dulson and the over the top millionaire Mr. Glass), he's also voiced Charkie the dog (a girl dog) and Compass the pigeon. Another example is with Jumpy the squirrel. He's voiced by Jim Cummings (the voice of Chef Pisghetti and Mr. Quint) , and he really makes the character sound squeaky and jittery. There's also Hundley the dachshund, where he's voiced by Lex Lang starting in season 2.
Another example I can think of is with the Be Cool Scooby Doo episode "Greece Is The Word". Both Arachne the spider and the harpy shown at the beginning are both voiced by Sumalee Montano. For someone known for voicing characters like Arcee, Katana, and Maria Santiago, she really makes the characters sound incredibly screechy without hurting our ears. That's quite impressive.
Now I turn this over to you. Name any animal, creature, and monster performances from voice actors you didn't expect doing so.
