Actually, Junior was originally started by EM.TV as a television channel in German-Speaking Countries and Israel before expanding years later under STUDIO 100’s ownership in the brand.
From what I know, Junior was actually founded by Kirch Group as an umbrella brand for children and family programmes they owned and distributed: Junior Hilights
Later the same company launched the channel under the same name as part of Kirch's DF1 satellite platform. EM.TV wouldn't start distributing Junior until they entered into the joint-venture with Kirch in December 1998: Kirch, EM.TV give birth to Junior.TV

So yeah, Junior was originally owned by Kirch Group as a brand before EM.TV took over the brand from them...

BBC Studios are going to be delivered for the video services by SES.

BBC Studios (BBCS) and its subsidiary UKTV have selected SES to manage the playout and distribution of over 50 linear channels, and their associated video on demand (VOD) services, SES announced today.

SES will provide playout, content processing, distribution, and VOD services, delivering BBCS and UKTV content to a network of affiliates globally and in the UK. These services will be based on SES’s European global delivery services with technical playout infrastructure provided from SES’s new Stockley Park facility in London and with SES’s Munich playout facility overseeing operational management.

BBCS is the commercial production and distribution arm of the BBC, crafting over 2,500 hours of content every year. BBCS is focused on promoting the creative talent of the BBC and the UK internationally and operates a global content distribution and branded services business. UKTV is a wholly owned subsidiary of BBCS. It has been at the forefront of UK branded television for over 25 years and its channels span comedy, entertainment, natural history, factual and drama. The broadcaster is a significant investor in British creativity and is committed to working with new and established writers, directors and programme-makers.

SES has been awarded the multi-year contract after responding to a BBCS and UKTV RFP where its service offering aligned with the BBCS and UKTV performance, business and commercial requirements. The new deal also builds on BBCS and UKTV’s desire for cloud innovation in the media industry.

On the 20th of July, apparently, Viacom are shutting down 6 channels in the UK:
- MTV Rocks
- Club MTV
- MTV OMG
- MTV +1
- MTV Music +1
- Comedy Central +1

Which clearly shows a decline of interest with +1 and music channels

OMG! MTV OMG is closing, just kidding, I'm not surprised why these channels are closing. YouTube, Spotify etc. and TV rival NOW Music is pretty much killing the music channels off. The +1s are pointless nowadays where VOD and PVRs are now commonplace. Pluto TV is now on Virgin, at least that mitigates some of the loss.

According to Digiguide it could be 19th July at 11pm for MTV OMG and 20th July at 4am for MTV Rocks and Club MTV.

EDIT: Virgin is the same, except it says "To Be Announced", there's listings for the other MTV music channels on that date and afterwards.

Today, the Philippine Government has denied the renewal of ABS-CBN and its channels. This means that the brand itself will be history......
Still, were waiting for The Filipino Channel (TFC) to officially announce their shutdown, if this affects the channels outside the Philippines, including their channels on OSN.

Justice League meets Game Of Thrones.
So, we have a tie here, with "Into The Hundred Acre Wood" and "Quack Pack" getting 2 votes each. I'll be tiebreaker. I pick Quack Pack. Now we have the last matchup of round 4, which is between "Phineas And Ferb: Star Wars" and "Scooby Doo And Batman: The Brave And The Bold".

The History of Comedy Central goes back to November 15, 1989 when HBO's (Time, Inc/Time Warner's) "The Comedy Channel" launched, and on April 1, 1990, Viacom launched "HA! TV Comedy Network" The two channels would merge on April 1, 1991 to form "CTV: The Comedy Network", then on June 1, 1991 it was renamed to Comedy Central, with TimeWarner and Viacom having both a 50% share.
