Fox Animation would be a unique case compared to other cartoon channels, it would have to be placed in the Entertainment section, Fox's animated shows aren't really suitable for children.
Yep :D; although the equation animation = children is gladly ending
I can see the channel being full of repeats already; but many still "ignore" this..

Just found out, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Masterchef will not air on Fox since other channels owns the rights :/
It feels so strange because Fox is the owner of those series
Fox is not "Disney", which has automatically most of the Disney Channel US rights; the rights for singular programmes are bought by single companies in a country by country basis
Simpsons in the UK is shown on Sky1 for example, not Fox UK, and Family Guy premieres on BBC Three (only repeats air on Fox UK)
Here Masterchef is shown on Sky Uno

Here in Poland, currently we've got two premium TV networks:
- Canal+ Poland (including its TV channels Canal+, Canal+ Film, Canal+ Film 2, Canal+ Family, Canal+ Family 2, Canal+ Sport) - launched in December 1994 (tests) and March 1995 (official) is currently owned by ITI Neovision SA in Poland (which is owned jointly by Canal+ Groupe, ITI Group and Liberty Global), however it broadcasts still from the same headquarters as the defunct Canal+ Cyfrowy. They currently air recent movies from the libraries of: Universal Pictures, Paramount Pictures, 20th Century FOX, MGM and local Polish companies.
- HBO Poland - The Polish HBO channel launched in 1996 (and its sister channels HBO2 and HBO Comedy) holds the premium TV rights for the libraries of their owner: Warner Bros. and its two ex-co-owners: Sony and Disney. It's recently infamous for showing some Disney (and Marvel) live-action movies in voice-over (like most of not-for-kids movies), despite the existence of Polish dubs and recently airing some 15-years-old movies as "premieres", as seen here: P?acisz za HBO? Ogl?dasz filmowe "premiery" nawet z 1999 roku - HBO, premium TV | media2.pl
Unlike Canal+ PL, its broadcast licence for their channels is from Czech Republic.

The closest to HBO we have in the UK is Sky Atlantic, before then they mostly aired on Channel 4 owned channels. HBO Poland was co-owned by Disney and Sony? how unusual.

On the topic of Film4, just like Disney Channel it was a premium channel, it's now rather ironic that it ended up as a Freeview channel.

We don't have Canal+ here, they only have a film making division in the UK called StudioCanal.

Here in Portugal, we have the pay movie network monopoly belonging to TVCine + Séries.
It launched in May 1998 as Telecine. Initially it offered two channels:
-Telecine 1 (great premieres)
-Telecine 2 (great productions)
Around 2000-ish, Telecine 1 and 2 rebranded for the first time:
-Telecine 1Telecine Premium (same purpose as Telecine 1)
-Telecine 2Telecine Gallery (same purpose as Telecine 2)
The Telecine channels were, in part, operated by Globosat, which led to the controversial issue of airing movies with Brazilian Portuguese subtitles and being operated from Brazil.
Eventually in 2003, the issue was sorted out and Lusomundo bought the channels, renaming them to Canais Lusomundo.
-Telecine PremiumLusomundo Premium
-Telecine GalleryLusomundo Gallery
2004 led to the launch of Lusomundo Action and 2005 led to the launch of the family-oriented Lusomundo Happy.
Lusomundo Premium and Gallery had a "replay" function which allowed the viewer to watch the channel on a one-hour delay. Those were the only two timeshift channels in existance over here.
Lusomundo Gallery had an audio-description function, but that was only valid on classic Portuguese movies.
On November 1st, 2007, Canais Lusomundo ceased to exist as a brand and was replaced by TVCine.
-Lusomundo PremiumTVC 1
-Lusomundo HappyTVC 2
-Lusomundo ActionTVC 3
-Lusomundo GalleryTVC 4
A new strategy started: the main movie on each channel started at 21:00 on 1, at 21:30 on 2, at 22:00 on 3 and at 22:30 on 4. Eventually all four channels decided to move their main movies half an hour later.
A new logo, taking cues from the TV Cabo logo of the time, appeared, and, for some mad reason, somehow outlived the TV Cabo logo (it rebranded to ZON within two and a half months) and, in 2011, the channels were now being run independently.
TVC 4 HD launched in 2008, then in September 2009 it was rebranded to just TVC HD (the bug on the SD simulcast read just "TVC"). In February 2011, TVC reverted back to TVC 4 while the former HD channel was split into TVC 1 HD and TVC 2 HD.
On October 3rd, 2011, TVSéries launched. It airs new shows from American networks not too long after they premiered in the USA. It's more or less like the Portuguese version of SKY Atlantic.
In July 2012, TVC 3 HD and TVC 4 HD launched.
Last October led to the launch of the five HD TVC channels on MEO and recently, ZON/NOS added the SD version of TVSéries due to minor complaints from those who couldn't watch it because they didn't have an HD decoder.

New channels in Brazil:

- MAX (in HD) 26/09
- MAX Prime (in HD) 26/09
- Canal Brasil (in HD) September
- H2 (it'll replace Bio SD/Bio HD) 01/10
- AMC (It'll replace MGM SD/MGM HD) 27/10
- Paramount Channel (it'll replace VH1 SD/VH1 HD Simulcast). Also, VH1 HD (not simulcast) will be closed down.

Premium channels over here:

- Telecine (as RandomMe have said). It's a package with 6 channels and they're: Telecine Premium - Telecine Pipoca - Telecine Action - Telecine Touch - Telecine Fun - Telecine Cult

- HBO. The number of channels on every cable operator varies according with the contractual issues and they're: HBO - HBO 2 - HBO Plus - HBO Plus * - HBO Family - HBO Family * - HBO Signature - MAX - MAX HD - MAX Prime - MAX Prime*
The channel that has an asterisk is a pan-regional channel shared by Mexico and Brazil but it is the Brazilian schedule of the original channel delayed in 3 hours.

+Globosat will be launched in Portugal soon. Globosat will start (again) its business over there.

I didn't knew about that.
They will probably be headquarted where TV Globo Portugal is (Globo on NOS, Globo Premium and PFC PT).
But anyway, who will get it? We'll see.
---
Anyway, it's been a bit slow over here, in the coming months we will get new channels in place of old ones (as seen on page 1) but that's it. At least my provider got several foreign channels incluiding CCTV 4.
