Crocker's appearances are still annoying, but at least in this episode he was doing what he's suppose to do instead of being there just to be there. I get a Quacky the Duck-vibe from the Fair Bears. Especially with Happy Bear being like the Sharing Moose. All in all "The Fair Bears" was the best episode so far this season.

Here's a video of Butch Hartman adressing an issue we all complain about: Cosmo's flanderization.

I just LOVE how Emily "loves" this series! I mean, this cartoon is probably the one that crashed the hardest! Is she totally ignoring how terrible this show has become? Is she in denial?

Is it just me, or does it look like Butch is kinda blaming Daran for Cosmo's flanderized stupidity?

well to be fair she does work at the company who produces FOP so of course she would say that i mean that would be like someone at disney saying they like mickey or someone at nintendo saying they like mario or even better someone at NICK saying they like SBSP!

Bumping this because there has been assorted news lately.

First, they've released a poster commemorating the 15th anniversary season of FOP.

He's also been releasing various Fairly Odd Facts on his twitter. Unlike the usual "facts" we get (which are typically the "I forgot my red marker" story we get a million times), some of these are actually what I consider bombshells. Poof was originally going to be named Dusty for instance. Also, Tootie is a nickname that Hartman gave one of his daughters and he also included some alternate designs that were considered for her.

There will likely be more coming as they lead up to the 15th anniversary. I'm not sure if they're doing some sort of special or anything, but it will be interesting to see. This is the sort of stuff I want from Hartman, not "PLS VIEW MY NOOG NETWORK!" or fanart of Danny Phantom in the same pose a billion times.

I checked on zap2it and Fri Mar 18 and Fri Mar 25 new episodes of Fairly Oddparents have been pulled, along with Sanjay and Craig and pgbc, and replaced with cloudy with a chance of meatballs and SpongeBob Atlantis squarepantis respectively. It's currently unknown when or if they'll show new episodes..

Given FOP's current status, maybe the network is reconsidering airing the episodes due to a lack of interest. After stagnant viewership averaging 1.25 million, maybe they're realizing this show isn't as potent as it was in the beginning. Perhaps comprehending the expression "Too much of a good thing," can be applied to a show that's been around for nearly 20 years but hasn't really been a world-wide phenomenon. Understandable, as Hartman's work has always had a "love it or hate it" reputation.

Rant Over.

Well it was given that at some point Nick was going to pull premieres again, so not a shocker to see FOP missing, although I would suspect maybe a bomb week sometime in the future.

Nick never celebrated SpongeBob's anniversary in a big way, so clearly nothing special either for FOP.

Except when they celebrated SpongeBob's 10th anniversary in 2009 with a multi-day marathon

I thought I put 15 in that comment my mistake, of course there was the Truth or Square thing for SS 10th anniversary, but 15 nothing and that is probably the SE for FOP case.

actually nick did do a big thing for SBSP they had a promotion with wal-mart, released a greatest hits compilation soundtrack, had a documentary on MTV about how the show was created, etc the only thing i can compare that to is how nintendo handled the anniversarys of mario & zelda except there was no documentary on MTV or promotion with wal-mart!

now if you want to look at something where they didn't really bother to celebrate the anniversary look no farther then... disney channel! DC had a 30th anniversary recently but they didn't do anything to acknowledge it!

That was for it's 10th anniversary. This is about it's 15th.

oops my bad! carry on!

I honestly wish that HTV Animatik should just aired more old cartoons made before 2000. It reminds me of that one time metv aired those awful 2003 looney tunes reboot shorts
It has been 10 days since IlPuyoPuyotchi went offline instead of her profile being completely overhauled. The probable reason for this is because she got tired of waiting for her name change to happen (it has been happened 6 days later).
With my week long social media break almost complete, I forgot about that one policy that Twitter unnecessarily added: suspending inactive accounts if you don’t log in at least one time in a 30 day period. So I got no choice but to do that one day per week (but I won’t still tweet until the new year). Otherwise, I’m going to be more active on Blusky
I Had absolutely no idea that Talespin was a spinoff of Jungle book like say what? I mean for years i saw talespin but never knew they were conected.. or related. learning something new everyday
So Zootopia 2 is coming. I must say, that is one movie I don't mind having a sequel. Just one, though.
