When Disney acquired Lucasfilm back in 2012, one of the first things the company did following its purchase was shut down LucasArts, then gave EA the exclusive license to develop Star Wars games.

Today, the Star Wars website made the surprising announcement that Lucasfilm Games is being revived.
Interestingly, Lucasfilm Games was the studio's original name before it was renamed LucasArts, so they're going back to basics.

One of their first games under this new label will be an Indiana Jones game from Bethesda.

Is this the future?!?

8 years, and the most EA could churn out was just 4 games, only one of which is truly story driven ("Jedi: Fallen Order", and I think it's success is more tied to Respawn than to EA). I'm uncertain as to whether the blame rests more on EA or on Disney, for not embracing the Clone Wars and elements of the old "Expanded Universe" up until the last 2 to 3 years.....or for not doing more to explore the 30 years between "Return of the Jedi" and "The Force Awakens" (though I understand they did touch upon that in the Marvel Comics).

Still, to quote the Senator from Naboo, this is "a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one." Just a shame that Star Wars fans had to suffer through 2012 to 2017, before the tide started to turn....Yes, I understand "Star Wars: Rebels" started to improve with it's 2nd season in 2015, but I consider the turning point was the failure of 2017's "Star Wars: Battlefront II" video game and the divisiveness of "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" in theaters. 2017 put things in motion that led to the rebirth of "LucasArts".

I am not kidding, Mostezli. The brand-new Evangelion movie will be released tomorrow indeed.
Today I was sitting on Budapest bus line 138, and what did I see? This!

However, this has nothing to do with Dexter's Laboratory or the live-action series. It is called like that because there is a Hungarian company in District 22 called Dexter.
The brand-new Evangelion movie can't be delayed anymore. It will be released tomorrow. Rejoice!
