Since we now have a decent source (TV Media Insights) for Disney XD ratings, I decided to create a thread where we can discuss ratings for the three Disney channels. Here are the ratings for last week's premieres.

All I can say that Disney ratings over the summer are doing better than Nickelodeon. Teen Beach Movie 2 was down from Teen Beach, but still ratings for the movie is the highest rated in 2015 overall.

And wow..look Disney total viewers are the second place (1.2), which means Cartoon for the first time is #1 (1.3) total viewers last week.

#1 Cartoon - 1332,000 (14.7% increase from week ago)
#2 Disney - 1294,000 (18.1% decrease from week ago)
#3 Nick - 1094,000 (9.44% decrease from week ago)

That does not look good for Disney. Normally it's in the lead. At least it's not in third place.

Whew, Gravity Falls is seriously doing XD a ton of good. I'm really, really glad to see them score this high.

I heard in the Wander Over Yonder SDCC panel that it's Season 2 Premiere The Greater Hater would air right after Gravity Falls' Dungeons, Dungeons, And More Dungeons on August 3rd as back to back premieres (since WOY's time slot is set at Mondays at 9 PM EDT, and maybe GF's at 8:30 PM EDT).

So with Gravity Falls (being now the most watched show on Disney XD at 1 to 2 million viewers for its continuity and participation values on mystery solving) as lead-in for Wander Over Yonder (and in some weeks, maybe Star Vs. The Forces of Evil for being second most viewed show in averages), it could be a great help for increasing much ratings on WOY since its Season 1 ratings on Disney XD were around 400,000 in averages.

WOY's first Season 2 Episode after Gravity Falls would set the new story arc outline with a new villain called Lord Dominator that has evil schemes much more threatening than Lord Hater, and much scarier for Sylvia and Wander. It's certain that the Main 4 (including Peepers) will be challenged and questioned of their roles, but still retain as much comedy, music, and fun from Season 1. Frank Angones (Story Editor of this Season) said that there would be more twists and turns in the next 40 episodes to come.
