Comic book fans are rejoicing because Disney and WB have announced that they will collaborate on two animated movies crossing over the Avengers (which is primarily based on the Infinity War/Endgame incarnation) with the Justice League. As part of the deal, one movie will be made by a Disney studio, and another will be made by Warner Bros. Animation.

No one ever thought this would happen. But it's happening.

I figured Teen Titans Go Vs Teen Titans would be the only Teen Titans revival movie we'd get. As it turns out, there's one more. This time it's a crossover with the Marvel Rising franchise. We have Robin, Starfire, Beast Boy, Raven, and Cyborg teaming up with The Secret Warriors (in this case Kamala Khan/Miss Marvel, Doreen Green/Squirrel Girl, America Chavez, Gwen Stacy/Ghost Spider, and Dante Pertuz/Inferno). They must defeat Slade and Hala. The movie is written by Mairghread Scott & Marly Halpern Graser, and directed by Dan Duncan & Cecelia Aranovich Hamilton. Here's a sneak peek.

April Fool's!

After months of regulatory maneuvering, T-Mobile and The Walt Disney Company officially completed their $26 billion merger today. The new combined parent company is called T-Mobile and will now trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol TMUS with Disney no longer trading on the NYSE.

For consumers, it will seemingly take a little time before the effects of the transition are meaningfully felt. T-Mobile did not comment on the future of the Disney brand in today’s announcement, but they have previously promised that subscribers will have access to “the same or better rate plans” for three years as part of the deal.

Shortly before the deal, Starhub bought Disney. Technically Disney owns Starhub now.

This means that Starhub will have more operations in Europe and America combined than in Asia.

Disney will revive the Singaporean show oktoLIVE but not on Channel 5. It will be shown to a regional audience on both Disney Channel and Disney XD as simulcast.

oktoLIVE ran from 2008 to 2015 on Singaporean channel Okto. The show ran on Tuesdays and it is likely that it will run on Disney Channel on the same day. Disney owns Mediacorp since 2019.

BURBANK, Calif. (April 1, 2020) – Today, in a investors briefing call with The Walt Disney Company's (NYSE: DIS) new CEO - Bob Chapek, a special surprise announcement was made which will excite Disney fans and theme park lovers the world over! Introducing Disneyland+, a VR experience utilizing 4D technology that will tantalise the senses and make you feel that you are at any of Disney's theme parks located around the world without ever leaving your armchair. Experience Space Mountain, go to the top of Sleeping Beauty's Castle, experience the brand new Star Wars: Galaxy Edge ride in Walt Disney World, visit Epcot, or visit Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris! The technology is developed by the same team that brought you Disney's latest and successful steaming service - Disney +. Disneyland+ is slated to release in Summer 2020 for PC, PlayStation VR and Nintendo Labo VR for the Nintendo Switch.

During the investors briefing call - Bob Chapek made this statement "During these difficult times happening in the United States and around the world, we at Disney feel that we want to give people some good news. The temporary closure of our theme parks really made us think that our parks are a vulnerable revenue stream, so we created Disneyland+, an experience that can be enjoyed at home with a simple monthly subscription of $5.99 per month, we will still be running our theme parks for the foreseeable future, but with advancements in VR and 4D cinema technology, we believe that Disneyland+ could be an eventual replacement, and we will be adding brand new rides and attractions for people to enjoy. We also have some exciting developments to come in the future, including the ability to create and experience your very own rides, with full customisation with Valve's Steam Workshop and we hope to partner with Sony and Nintendo for not only ride customisation ability but also access to their popular gaming intellectual properties."

About The Walt Disney Company
