David Ramsey's John Diggle is set to star in "Justice U," a new series in production for the CW.

In the new series, which is set in the Arrowverse, after years of fighting alongside masked heroes, Diggle embarks on a new mission to recruit five young meta humans to live undercover as freshmen at a prestigious university. There he will oversee their education and train them to become the heroes of tomorrow.

In addition to starring in the series, if it is picked up to pilot, Ramsey, who has directed a number of Arrowverse episodes, will helm the pilot.

About time Diggle got his own show. Eh on the premise. Wonder if this will make it to CW or if they'll just move it to HBO Max if this CW purchase goes trough.

Admittedly this has got to be the most CW Superhero show premise I have ever seen for the CW.

At the same time I feel like Diggle deserves better.

I'm hoping that Diggle will finally use the Green Lantern ring for this.

I'm honestly not expecting it to get mentioned at all, unfortunately .

Eh, I don't know. Judging what he said to Brainy in Supergirl, as in "Worlds apart", that all but confirms he will be the Green Lantern eventually.

10/4/22: Ramsey says they are on the second draft and a writer has been hired but they can't reveal her name yet.

5/18/23: Officially scrapped by CW and won't move forward.
