Count on DeMatteis to get metaphysical as he answers "what happened to Amazo" :p.
And basically the JL dodged a bullet 3 times with Amazo, and this is what happens when we get a hit. The whole multiverse is at stake.

EDIT: Hmm, seems J'onn is the narrator.

When are the print issues of Justice League Infinity and Batman: The Adventures Continue: Season 2 coming out?
7/6: Same day release as digital. So today for instance.

7/8: Found another interview with DeMatteis. Does throw out 3 interesting hints
-There's an AU version of the Justice League, that he never even knew about and not been used very much. He and Tucker "took those characters and pumped them up and expanded them and they’ve become very, very important, especially a few central characters on that other team, become very, very important to the story"
-There's another AU JL that he had so much fun with, he'd love to spin them off into their own series
-Darkseid appears but he seems to hint it will be an AU version.

I'm wondering if he's talking about Grant Morrison's Justice Incarnate...

DC Comics has released October 2021 solicitation details for Batman: The Adventures Continue, Justice League Infinity and the Harley Quinn: The Animated Series mini-series. Head over to WF for the details!
BTAC: Aha. So there is a through line , who succeeds Hill. And happens to presumably be a past mayor who is also descended from one of the founding families and likely related to whoever runs the department store chain. Interesting kick that Batman butted heads with him in his early years.

JLI: Sweet, so this is what Tucker and J.M. were hinting at in a past interview. Must be a AU Darkseid who succeeds in attaining the solution to the Anti-Life Equation and wins, but at the cost of all life so now he lives on this barren planet. Sort of like "Hereafter" with Superman and AU Savage.

HQ: Makes sense Catwoman would show up sooner or later in this comic.

DCSHG/TTG: Wow, even doing a crossover GN.

EDIT: So Bruce Timm did do a cover for the WW 80th anniversary special. Neat. But.... not BTAC or JLI so far? :p

The plot for B:TAC fascinates me mainly for its connection to both the mayoral race and potentially the Court of Owls. Nice of Dini and Burnett to set up that connection early on. Also, it's two times now that the main cover features the Grey Ghost, but for stories that don't seem to connect to him. I wonder if there is a connection or it's just coincidence.

It would be funny if the Darkseid that Diana encounters is the Superfriends version.

8/1: @James Harvey pointed it out but on the comixology page for BTAC II #3, it has been delayed a week to August 10.

8/2: And Comixology is showing Harley Quinn #1 releases September 1, not this Tuesday. Oi.

That's odd, since I just read the first issue on DC Universe just now. It could be a timed exclusive to that site or something.
Bungled announcement, shocker. Okay, it seems to be exclusive to DC Universe/Read DC today then the wide release is September 1, 2021. No clue, if the physical issue came out today or September 1. I'll put up a talkback in a couple minutes. Thanks, M.O.D.O.K. for the head's up.

EDIT: Monica Kubina posted more teases of BTAC #3, titled "The Hunter or The Hunted".

So this is a surprise. Trey Parker & Matt Stone have signed a deal to make more South Park seasons until at least season 30 in 2027. They also signed a deal to make 14 streaming movies for Paramount Plus, starting with 2 movies this year.

The winner of this matchup is Slumber Party Sneak In, which got 2 votes. Blunder Party got 1 vote. The next matchup is Pride Festival. It's between Chosen Family from Danger And Eggs and Whatever Floats Your Float from Madagascar A Little Wild.
The only actual critiques that I agree with for I AM NOT STARFIRE, everyone.....

RIP J.W. Rinzler, who wrote the making of books for Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones, and more.
Here's a fun fact. Benjamin Valic said in this article about how he considers Robert Downey Jr as one of his favorite actors.
