Here's IDW's Comic Book Solicitations for February 2025.

Highlights include the start of several Godzilla projects (to celebrate Godzilla's 70th anniversary), and the start of the 2nd arc of the restarted "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" series. It's being noticed that Sonic the Hedgehog has gone missing this month though.

Here's Image Comics' Solicitations for February 2025.

Besides the GI Joe/Transformers line of comics, this is still a great company for Indie comics from your favorite comic book industry writers. For example, February will see the launch of a new series by writer Jason Aaron, titled "Bug Wars"!

So I see where Dark Horse Comics released their "February 2025 solicitations" but really what they do apparently is release solicitations 3 months in a row (so they've released solicits for February, April, and May now).

So they won't release another "solicitations" for 3 months, it would seem.

So if you want to focus on JUST what's coming out in February 2025, you can filter on the Dark Horse website.

So new franchise comics includes a new "Cyberpunk 2077" mini-series, a new "Stranger Things & Dungeons and Dragons" comic, and the continuing "Star Wars: The High Republic" comics, among other goodies.

"Characters don't become tax write offs". I'll remember this to myself and I'll keep saying it because nothing in entertainment is going to be permanent. This is with any IP under copyright or trademark. Oswald the Lucky Rabbit was brought out of retirement for example. What about Apu or any other famous character that was "retired", shelved, or fallen out of use? Only if there is a good idea worth telling.
I keep thinking about that scene from one of the most recent episodes of The Simpsons, where the characters complain about a video they just watched being animated, and demand live-action because "they're adults".
Wonder why whenever Nickelodeon airs something holiday related specials such as SpongeBob, Patrick Star Show, etc.. why isn't the theme getting more spirit and staying the same? I mean Sandy's Country Christmas airing did NOT get Christmas theme opening credits..

Disney has done nowadays with updated theme to be holiday version
You know something? How come the 80s MLP series never aired on The Hub/Discovery Family? I mean, 80s G.I. Joe and Transformers were there, so why not 80s MLP?
