i have few questions. When will this show get released? It's been almost 3 years ever since it was announced. Is first season complete? Why is it taking so long? What does J. G. Quintel think about show being delayed?

The delays occur when there was slight production delays, as well as the decisions from the higher ups that had the show being shifted off from airing on TBS onto HBO Max, this also explains about the same thing for Tig N Seek, which have been around the same year since.

According to Steve Hulett, Close Enough is already on its 2nd season and awaiting possible pickup for a 3rd.
Take anything Hulett says with a grain of salt. Most of the info he posts on his blog is inaccurate or outdated.

I recall he said at one point that Infinity Train would be an Adult Swim show. And I’m sure there’s some other stuff that I can’t remember right now.
Ok yeah I remember that. He also did the same with Tiggle Winks and Close Enough (tho this one's understandable) multiple times, but still, those slipups were relatively minor, and I'm pretty sure he's never been wrong about pickups, renewals, cancellations, and series endings, CMIIW. I'm fully aware that the info is subject to change and I do agree that we should take it with a grain of salt, but saying most of his info is outdated and inaccurate isn't exactly right either.

Is it? I can't think of a single piece of info he provided that was ever refuted. Not as far as I recall.
Then he mentioned about two years back, that originally COTC, Tig N Seek or The Fungies was supposed to be featured on the now-debunked digital network "Bite Size", which it never happened at all

See the details: Tomb Of The Cartoon Monkey Skeleton

Keyword: originally. He later clarified in the next Work Around Town post that the digital network was closed down. The info may have been true at the time of writing the previous post but networks change up their plans all the time.

Plus, no one has pointed out a single piece of info regarding renewals that was proven false so I still stand by what I said.

Is this Warner Bros. animated sitcom gonna be a regular show clone?
I wouldn't personally refer it as a "Regular Show clone", despite JG previously worked on it. And no, it is not a WB animated because it's not animated by them.

I mean, he announced Amphibia and Owl House before their official announcement
Not to mention OK K.O.!'s cancellation and I believe Adventure Time: Distant Lands too. All thighs considered, he's gotten more things right than wrong. Take his word with a grain of salt but we shouldn't be too dismissive either.
Parker Simmons (creator of Mao Mao) just disputed his post on Twitter.

To be fair, Hulett's initial comment could also imply that CN hadn't ordered more episodes when he received the tip. I didn't believe it either and thought it was poor wording on his part.

Okay, you’re right about WB not animating. They do however own the show. I saw more into it sounds more sitcom and grounded, something I appreciate. The Prince is also coming to HBO Max from Bento Box and 20th Century Fox Television and I cannot wait to see that as well.
