You get the point. Talk about any Cartoonito outside the US. Ready set go!
I mean some parts of Africa were scheduled to launch Cartoonito which is Boomerang Jr. which consists of 75% of the current Boomerang.I don't think Boomerang will be replaced by Cartoonito in the rest of the world...
Great!Cartoonito UK will rebrand on 1st February 2022, matching the presentation of the Cartoonito pre-school programming block on Cartoon Network USA.

I would hope so, I remember that Italy had the current graphics package before us. The UK/USA YouTube channel is now shared and is using the new branding, so it would make sense for Cartoonito UK to rebrand as soon as possible.Great!
Hopefully the Italian rebrand is close too
Crazy, but it's an extreme version of what happens in some other EMEA countries, see teh Mish mash from the German team, CEE operations are still left with Check It 4.0 remnantsI would hope so, I remember that Italy had the current graphics package before us. I used to find it funny that Italy was rather fast rebranding Boomerang (when they changed the logo) and Boing, but abandoned their main channel - Cartoon Network on Check It 1.0. for too long.
That means the Cartoonito UK will finally say goodbye to original mascots?Cartoonito UK will rebrand on 1st February 2022, matching the presentation of the Cartoonito pre-school programming block on Cartoon Network USA.

Yes, and very likely Italy too .That means the Cartoonito UK will finally say goodbye to original mascots?
Sadly, they won't launch separated account for the US, unlike Cartoon Network & Boomerang.I would hope so, I remember that Italy had the current graphics package before us. Yep it will be, although the new ones are loosely based on the old mascots.That means the Cartoonito UK will finally say goodbye to original mascots?
Yes, similarly based on shapesYep it will be, although the new ones are loosely based on the old mascots.
Nito = Cuba
Wedge = Spike
Itty = Bubble
The only original character is Glob, which is probably a mixture between Lolly and Bubble.
Unless the strategy is to move CN to DTT in Italy after the merger with Discovery and replacing either K2 or Frisbee (or both), Boomerang will just close.Yes, similarly based on shapes
What will slightly be confused with this rebrand, is that it vaguely connects Cartoonito with Cartoon Network, which here is only available on paying TV.
If CN Italy went FTA (like CN Arabic & CN Turkey) on Digital terrestrial TV (DTT), then CN Italy +1 will cease transmission on the same day, and Sky Italia Infocard will appear on the channel.Unless the strategy is to move CN to DTT in Italy after the merger with Discovery and replacing either K2 or Frisbee (or both), Boomerang will just close.
I think in this situation, Boing will continue to air a mixture of animated and live-action programming, with repeats of Cartoon Network shows (plus some classics), but with the shows Discovery has the rights too (that air on K2 and Frisbee) plus some acquired shows that don't air on CN (especially live-action), plus maybe some Boomerang shows as well that are excluded from CN. The pre-school Discovery shows can just air on Cartoonito. As a result, this would create three strong channels with different purposes, and CN wouldn't undermine Boing as a result.
In my opinion, with Discovery closing their kids channels on DTT, and with Boing and Cartoonito co-owned by Mediaset (and also possibly CN on DTT), it will make the approval process for the WarnerMedia/Discovery merger easier and will likely be passed by the regulators, especially as it's co-owned by an Italian/EEA company. Yes, CN Italy +1 will close as a result, same for Boomerang +1.If CN Italy went FTA (like CN Arabic & CN Turkey) on Digital terrestrial TV (DTT), then CN Italy +1 will cease transmission on the same day, and Sky Italia Infocard will appear on the channel.
In your opinion, Boing will possibly stay, even when Discovery takeover, and won’t be sold it’s remaining stakes to Mediaset (which in my opinion will lead if that happens to airing Disney & DreamWorks content, instead of CN/Warner ones), nor completely takeover Cartoonito Italy from Mediaset by Warner.
New brand, same strategies.In addition to this there will be specials and movies throughout the month. Watch all new episodes at 5pm and movies daily at 8am, 1.30pm and 6pm.
Join in all the fun with Fireman Sam and his friends in new action-packed episodes, every day on Cartoonito!
We've been already talking about Cartoonito on the Boomerang thread for years now. I don't know we needed this. Especially when Cartoonito might be a preschool block on Boomerang in most places.My thread is gaining popularity!
I believe Cartoonito will kill off Boomerang in markets which is deemed successful like EMEA or markets where they're able to pull pull a ton of viewers presumably Latin AmericaWe've been already talking about Cartoonito on the Boomerang thread for years now.
