Actually, all shows, specials, new episodes and movies for Cartoon Network's schedule in October 2016 has been taking over by 31 Nights of Halloween on the most Spooktacular Halloween tale as the story along with Fox's Sunday Funday, Boomerang, Discovery Family, Nickelodeon everywhere, Disney Channel everywhere and the others, more like Halloween Horror Nights!

To be honest I really don't think it would really harm it anyways considering how its been seeing a decline for a long time and how it barely airs that is the least of its problems.

The opening post still list Pokemon airing at 7AM, so I'm not sure what better time slot you're referring to. I really hope that it does get a better timeslot given how well it has been doing and the upcoming arcs for XY, but I don't see it being mentioned here.
