For the first time since 3 years, CN Poland aired Teen Titans Go! (episode "Strength of a Grown Man") with correct opening yesterday. Usually they've aired intro from S1E1.

"Snot and Tears" and "Communicate Openly" aired without any problems on CN Poland. The scenes with sticking snots out of the nose were left intact on both episodes.

No new episodes of Ninjago from S12 in May on CN PL. :(

Today was the last day CN CEE aired regular reruns of Total DramaRama (though it will come back as part of Maraton Mix next month) and soon Victor and Valentino will leave the schedule as well. I won't be surprised if in some weeks DC Super Hero Girls and Power Players will also get removed. What's up with the international CN feeds treating the newer shows so badly recently? Craig of the Creek is probably the only one that got good treatment.

Cartoon Network's original short-form series from Mexico, Villainous, turns 3 years old today. (May 15)
Just recently, the series's Creator - Alan Ituriel - shared a still from a possibly upcoming short. (we haven't seen any new content since the 11-minute Pilot last year and occasional photos from Penumbra's official Instagram page who appeared in the Pilot. (under the name @the_numbrax)

In addition, he also made a couple of drawing videos for the CN LA YouTube channel: Black Hat (voiced by him in both Spanish and English dubs) and 5.0.5. (voiced by Markiplier)

Cartoon Network CEE Schedule and Highlights for June 2020

- Apple and Onion are finally back, after almost one year+, with new episodes from 29th June. New episodes from season 1 (S1E11-20) will air weekdays at 06.50 CET, with reruns at 16.50 CET. Two new episodes will premiere per day.
- New episodes of Mao Mao: Heroes of Pure Heart (S1E21-29) start airing from 15th June. They will air weekdays at 07.15 CET, with reruns at 14.55 CET. Reruns on weekends will be at the same timeslots. New episodes will air until 25th June, and one new segment will premiere per day (followed by a rerun episode). The reason they only air this small number of episodes is because this is the amount of episodes they have so far aired on the USA feed. They can't leak the other S1 episodes, as they were already put on an Australian streaming service.
- New episodes of Bakugan Battle Planet (S1E27-34) start airing from 22nd June. They will air weekdays at 09.25 CET, with reruns at 20.30 CET. Reruns on weekends will be at the same timeslots. You would think they will have 13 half-hours for this batch, just like they did for the previous two ones, but they just leave it with 8 episodes for some reason. More than 39 episodes of Bakugan Battle Planet have been released, so at this point they just want to keep nonsense gaps. Seriously.
- Marathon Mix returns yet again for the Summer edition, and this it will start right at the beginning of the first Summer month (it's probably obvious, because of the current pandemic period, and they want to keep the kids hooked as much as possible inside the house). The marathon will air from 1st June, every Monday to Friday from 07.45 till 09.10 CET. One different show will air every week.
- Besides the Marathon Mix, Teen Titans Go takes over the holidays for yet the 5th time in a row (probably). "Teen Titans Go! Summer Dance Party", the Summer block with nothing but TTG episodes, will start from 1st June and will air every Monday to Friday from 10.20 till 13.05 CET.
- Continuing from last month: new episodes of Teen Titans Go (until 4th June), new episodes of Thundercats Roar (until 3rd June), new episodes of Power Players (until 10th June), CN Afternoon Fun and Toony Tube
- Schedule changes:

  • From the second week of the month, Craig and Mao Mao's morning slots are swapped. Craig of the Creek will air at 06.25 CET, while Mao Mao will be shown at 07.15 CET. The same change applies to the weekends schedule as well.
  • On weekends, Thundercats Roar replaces Unikitty at 08.20 CET. This is followed by Ben 10 at 08.50 CET, which replaces Mao Mao in that slot.
  • Before the premiere of the new episodes, Apple and Onion will already start reairing in the schedule from 22nd June. It will be shown at 06.50 CET, replacing DC Superhero Girls, while from 29th it will get an extra slot at 16.50 CET, replacing Gumball.
  • Gone from the schedule this month are Victor and Valentino and DC Superhero Girls. I expect them to return at least when new episodes will air.
  • Total DramaRama will return this month, and also Lego Ninjago will also get back on daytime, but only as part of Marathon Mix.
  • And as a matter of fact, something to noteworthy is that as of this month, Angelo and Ninjago's slots at the beginning of the night schedule are swapped back. So Angelo's double bill airs at 21.00 CET again, while Ninjago's double slot is back at 22.45. This was such an useless change, that it needed to be put back to normal. Same for this month's morning change with Craig and Mao Mao.
  • As part of CN Afternoon Fun, The Amazing World of Gumball will be this month's show airing.

(all times CET, changes are bolded)

So we will have like only 4 CN originals mainly airing during daytime, with the excpetion of others which come and go at the beginning and end of the month. So 6 originals aired during the entire month, most of which are recent series. I except at least this consistency to be permanent through the whole summer. I don't except them to add more variety, but they shouldn't cut out from it. Besides, I am impressed at the way the channel gives more respect to Bakugan and Power Players, two action series which do air frequently during daytime. You would think they would only give them one slot each per day, like what happened to Bakugan at the beginning of its airtime, but maybe it also has to do with the fact they are toyetic series. So CN CEE airs them frequently, so that they can promote the shows' toylines. But at least it's great to have some other genres besides comedy, which has been overused by the channel all these years. If they keep it like this, it would be something good and different for the channel, after all these years. However, having Power Players both right before and right after the TTG marathon just doesn't feel right at all.

Apple and Onion's premieres will last for a very very short time. As 10 episodes will air, they could have done the same like for Mao Mao, and air one new segment per day. This way, A&O's premieres will feel like unexistent. It doesn't make sense that they spawn Mao Mao, with the same number of premieres (almost), in more days, while they shorten A&O's "new" timespan.

And regarding Gumball, at least now, after the show ended, they should cut from its airings as much as they can. They shouldn't throw it away, but air less from it, and make room for other shows. Same for TTG. I fear that they will keep spamming and adding more slots of Gumball for more years to come, to the point people will get bored of it.

Hmmm, while CN CEE does have a better schedule than CN NL, it is also not very good...

While it's nice to see Angelo Rules at 21:00, it's just 23 half-hours over and over and over again at this point. You can't air 4 episodes in a row! That's 28 episodes a week!

That's pretty messed up.

Speaking of TCR, I checked out Polish dub of the show, and it's pretty alright. It's kinda strange that they didn't translate ThunderCats as Grzmoto-Koty but I guess I can uses to it.

Soon they will lose the rights for all of the Angelo episodes and I can already tell what CN CEE is going to replace them with..

I suspect that studios closing down (at least in Hungary - but likely in Czechia and Romania as well) for a period might have had an impact on this particular show. I reckon they did plan for 13x22' but they couldn't finish dubbing in time... I could be wrong though.

I mean, the dubbing studios could dub remotely from home (even thou will not be as fast),but depends if the actors have what it needs for recording

CN NL will premiere "Steven Universe: De Film" on May 31st at 19:25. Still no sign of Change Your Mind, which is supposed to air first

Scooby-Doo and Guess Who will premiere on June 1st, more or less a year after the American premiere. Boomerang cartoons on CN NL, could this be a trend? Maybe we'll also get Bunnicula and Looney Tunes Cartoons?
