Next week Sinterklaas will come to Belgium to tell how many children were naughty this year. This will be the first time the Black Petes won't be entirely black. I suppose parents have to tell their children that Sinterklaas has finally found a way to wash soot away.

Last year we already had such Petes on Nickelodeon as well as in the very first Flemish Sinterklaas film. This year RTL, the Dutch government and the Belgian government will also show partly cleaned Petes.

RTL and NPO will also stop saying 'Black Petes'. From now on the word 'black' will always be omitted, and if absolutely necessary it will be replaced by 'chimney'.
Schoorsteenpiet = "Shore Stone Pete" = Chimney Pete

I don't know what Cartoon Network will do. Cartoon Network will undoubtly show Sinterklaas bumpers, but the German team is probably completely unaware of these changes.

EDIT:
Left: this year
Right: last year

Do you live in Cyprus? Are there still some CN shows subtitled into Greek?
I didn't live in Cyprus but I saw someone in Wikipedia they put those sentences:
PrimeTel Channel 400 (MENA version)
The channel replaces Cartoon Network Africa, which had already ceased broadcasting on satellite television in both Greece and Cyprus.
By the way there was something happens you didn't see it from before on facebook page of Cartoon Network MENA they put Cartoon Network First
https://m.facebook.com/CartoonNetworkMENA/about/?entry_point=about_section_header&ref=page_internal&refsrc=https://m.facebook.com/pg/CartoonNetworkMENA/about/?ref=page_internal&_rdr
Also on beIN Sports News Channel, they put Cartoon Network First HD beside the other logo. Maybe in the future they would broadcast it on beIN Channel 140 beside CN Hindi channel number 139 while the English Channel might return in SD Quality and might broadcast again on channel 137. Cartoon Network First would be a new name for Cartoon Network MENA

@J10: I agree with Cartoon Network First - PrimeTel and Cytavision are probably going to get it. Unless they switch feeds to RSEE, it is there to stay.

Yes maybe CN English which is beside CN First logo might relaunch on channel 400 and Cypriots might get CN First or MENA and move to either channel 402 or 808 if they decide to broadcast in Cyprus

MENA is more of a correct option, besides it's the closest feed they can use. The days of a European feed have ended.

"CN English"? What are you talking about :D

There's no such thing, at least not anymore, if you refer to CN Europe

Said that, I find it very odd how they're apparently renaming CN MENA in CN First.. hopefully that's just a n external label and it won't affect the branding of the channel etc.

CN MENA, that's what CN Europe ("CN English") has become.
May be or may be not as you could see and yes they put it on beIN Sports News channel may it would CN MENA English or the former channel I don't know which one but may be they might announce it by next year let's wait may be CN First will replace and change the name of CN MENA only on beIN

Yeah, it's just the fact that ever since they decided to split up the feeds with the whole beIN deal, I'm still confused.

If you didn't know CN CEE only used that new Check 4.0-esque NEW bug for one day, and then from 1st November they are currently back to the Check 3.0 version of it.

Seriously now. The German team has become very very weird!

Yeah, I'm still waiting for those new episodes
Yeah, but I guess since they already aired two batch of new episodes this year (January/February and June/July), they probably will save the next one for 2017, because they don't want to premiere too much eps in one year. Let's hope we will see new eps this January.

New episodes of Steven Universe are scheduled to air on CN RSEE (and most likely the other German feeds) in January, according to the official Russian VK page.
