Replying to BlooMac from previous thread. Sure they could do better but I have not seen such a decent CN schedule in a while. Before the merger the WE's local feeds we're garbage. The only feed that had variety was Porugal (and sometimes Germany). So I think we benefit from this merger than lose to be honest. Plus I haven't seen them celebate Halloween and Christmas properly in a long time. Since mid 10s. So at the end of the day they have improved more with the merger and I'm not ashamed to say it. As long as they still a few old shows on the lineup, I'm good because I don't really expect them to rerun anything older than those shows.

I've asked the uploader of the video to record and upload the English version of the promo.

I saw other videos with both languages. I think he is not forgetting and will always post it.

Still, they don’t want to change the announcer for the English Audio, nor the DOG of the channel (in the year when CN Arabic relaunched their HD feed again via beIN).

The French feed had a block called CN Classic, but broadcasting RS, PPG Reboot, and Dexter’s Laboratory. One from the 90s, and the rest isn’t. In addition, they made Up Next bumpers different from the others.

Good that they merged it. So, after the French feed merged with most Western European feeds to become CN WE, the African feed should change all of the next bumpers, whether they stay as it is or by merging similarly to the CEE/WE ones. They have to quickly change all the French bumpers to British/Munich ones.

And only one (Regular Show) managed to stay after the Western European merger.
Did they? I recall them airing nothing but TTG, Gumball and WBB all day. Not counting special events.
They now have the same schedule as the other feeds (German, Nordic, Dutch and Portuguese). It's weird that Warner Bros. Discovery close CN France down, but not its sister channels (Boomerang France, Cartoonito France and WarnerTV Next).

I'm not talking about now. When CN France was local, it basically only had three shows when we don't count those Ben 10 and CN classic events. CN France definitely benefits with CN WE merger. With almost 15 shows airing daily, I'm personally a happy viewer.

With Boomerang, Mr Magoo, Oggy and Zig & Sharko are the shows that air on other channels in Western area. Therefore not everyone has the broadcasting rights to air certain shows on CN WE.

But however, they still have Boomerang, Cartoonito and WarnerTV Next local for some reason.

The channel does well on the market so keeping the channel for now is for the better. Cartoonito has a few European shows that don't air on Cartoonito CEE and I guess the same thing like I mentioned about Boomerang. WarnerTV is only available in a few countries.

I think Cartoon Network France was different from all the other Feeds and that alone was enough to make it the best for me, and by the way being different wasn't the only reason, but also the variety its schedule "It was one of the few feeds in EMEA that kept Steven Universe, Adventure Time, Uncle Grandpa, Summer Camp Island, We Bare Bears and Ben 10 before the merger"

So on the very big Christmas day, they will not be doing an expanson of their holidays-themed block to an all-day marathon like I thought, sadly. And it's in contradiction to what they did on 31st October.... Instead, for most of the rest of the day, they will be showing the regular new garbage line-up. Let's hope CN WE will be at least a little bit better on the 25th....

(for those who didn't get to notice the previous initial post for the December schedule and highlights from the recently-closed 17th thread, go here and here)

For the final six days of 2024, you just have to wait some more till I gradually receive more updates myself (or when the online sources get updated as well). I did receive the Excel/Word files for the December schedules today (still, only after I e-mailed them yesterday to call them out), but still with just one day added up.

The new Totally Spies! season has finally made it to Western/Northern Europe, and has been dubbed into Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Dutch, Castilian Spanish and European Portuguese. Apparently though, I think it's exclusive to Max, and might not be airing on CN WE at all. Since Germany doesn't have Max, that means the German dub might end up airing on a third-party channel instead.

Oddly enough, Max doesn't offer English audio for the new season of Totally Spies! on Max in Denmark, yet they somehow still have French audio in spite of the series being originally produced in English and not French! I've submitted feedback asking them to rectify this oddity.

Edit: Only episode 5 has English audio. Weird.

Happy 15th birthday to Angry Birds, 20th anniversary to the PlayStation Portable tomorrow, and 14th birthday to Angry Birds' PSP port on January 4th!
wow, only a couple weeks until Christmas already. this year has gone by so fast.
My Spanish final grade is being calculated RN. Keep in mind, most of my tests I didn't do good on. One test I got a 49, and on the latest test the score hasn't come in yet so it's in the placeholder grade of a 0, and right now that zero currently counts towards the calculations.

All that said, my current grade- zero test included- is a 90.41%. An A.

Well, I still would like to see Netflix do more with the "three episodes per week" format after Arcane. The final arc of The Dragon Prince could ultilise this, should it be greenlit after the upcoming release of Book Seven: Dark in eight days' time.
Would love to see Five Guys open a restaurant in Portugal one day.
