Etisalat’s eVision will continue broadcasting CN and Cartoonito channels. However, the surprise is, CN Hindi is until now broadcasting on the platform in the UAE, eLife, and also on DuTV in the same country.

Also, there will be an FAST channel for CN/Cartoonito programs by 2025. I think they’ll call it CN Arabic FAST, or may be CN MENA becomes an FAST channel, with the linear feed getting merged with another feed. Let’s see how they’ll name the FAST channel.

Warner Bros. Discovery and eVision are extending their partnership, aiming to expand content offerings across the MENA region. This collaboration between Warner Bros. Discovery and eVision, the media arm of global technology group e&, will bring new channels and content options to viewers, enhancing the existing lineup.

Under this extended partnership, Warner Bros. Discovery will offer seven additional channels in the UAE, including well-known titles like Fatafeat, Discovery Channel, TLC, HGTV, Food Network, Investigation Discovery (ID), and Discovery Family. This expansion will add programming across genres, featuring shows such as Escape Kitchen, Gold Rush, 1000 lb Sisters, and The Scariest House in America, all provided at no additional cost to eVision customers. In addition to these traditional channels, viewers will still have access to current favourites like CNN International HD, Cartoon Network HD, CN Arabic, CN Hindi, and Cartoonito.

Olivier Bramly, CEO of eVision, said, “We are excited to enhance our partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, setting new standards in the entertainment industry and transforming the way premium content is presented and consumed. By leveraging our broad distribution capabilities alongside Warner Bros. Discovery’s outstanding content, we are eager to introduce these top-tier channels to a broader audience. This partnership underscores our mutual commitment to providing unparalleled entertainment experiences and catering to the diverse tastes of viewers in the MENA region.”

The extended collaboration will also see the launch of two new Free Ad-supported Streaming TV (FAST) channels on eVision’s STARZ ON platform. CNN Fast, launched on 2 November 2024, offers a curated mix of short-form news, business, entertainment, and sports content, marking the channel’s first appearance on Connected TV (CTV) in the MENA region. A kids’ FAST channel, expected in 2025, will showcase children’s favourites from Warner Bros. Discovery’s kids’ content library, offering round-the-clock entertainment for younger audiences and further broadening the brand’s family-friendly content.

Francesco Perta, Vice President, Business Development and Distribution for Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey at Warner Bros. Discovery, commented, “We are excited to extend our partnership with eVision and expand our channel offerings. This collaboration not only strengthens our commitment to delivering diverse and engaging content but also ensures that our viewers have access to the latest in entertainment, news, and lifestyle programming. The introduction of new channels and the launch of CNN Fast and Warner Bros Discovery Kids Fast channels exemplify our dedication to meeting the evolving needs of our audiences.”

Sunil K. Joy, Head of Content at eVision, added, “These are exciting times for STARZ ON as we unveil the latest expansion of our offerings, with the introduction of more Free and Ad-Supported TV channels. This carefully curated content is tailored to meet the evolving tastes of our viewers in the MENA region and to engage them with exceptional content.”

The collaboration between Warner Bros. Discovery and eVision aims to deliver diverse, quality entertainment to audiences in MENA, reflecting both companies’ commitment to evolving viewer preferences and providing accessible content across various interests and demographics.

Sneak peek, sneak peek, sneak peek, sneak peek, SNEAK PEEK AAAAAAAH

The Totally Spies upload lacks the intro sequence for some reason, while the UK video of the same episode has it (which they also uploaded a week or so before their premiere on TV)

WELL WELL WELL!!

For one thing, CEE altered the name of the stunt. Instead of "Every Teen Titans Go Episode Ever", they generalised and reduced its meaning by calling it "The Best Teen Titans Go Episodes". This is the case for the Romanian dub of the promo, while even the English track has it like this (in the latter case, it only applies on the endboard, while "Every TTG Episode" can still be heard as part of Robin's dialogue at the beginning, as they couldn't alter the English audio of the animation that was produced from scratch for every EN track of the international CN feeds). Plus, even more strangely, the Romanian track of the promo doesn't mention any timeslot, nor any time notion whatsoever. They only literally end up the promo here with "Gen on the couch and watch the best episodes of Teen Titans Go" and nothing more. Meanwhile, the English version does say a generic "everyday", also with no exact timeslot, with the general British announcer of the European CN feeds voicing-over. But yeah, they don't have an actual "fixed and exact" time for this stunt, they will just use all the regular slots of the show per day and promote them under this. Which is why they also won't be having the promotional screenbug that CN WE got, not making sense without a fixed slot.

Likely, CN CEE couldn't technically air exactly "every episode ever" of TTG, because some of them are still left banned by the respective feed (like "Butt Atoms" from season 6; though I think "Smile Bones" was unbanned, since PL and RSEE showed it, like "The Slap" from Gumball was after the merger of the feeds. I have to check for that at some point). Gotta give props to the Romanian team for having the "brains" for that.

Still, as you can see, they called all the local dubbing studios to do the voices from the actual dubs of the show for this animation created specifically for these promos, which is a good and logical thing. (and the same they will have had done for the 400th Episode Special promotion when the time will come).

Also ever since they introduced this promo to CEE, they now air it at the beginning of almost every break alone (without a second promo after), before the commercials, while at the end of the break they alter between the Mornings with Gumball and Star of The Night promotions.

For the reference of what I said above, here is also how the English promo of CEE goes over:

In the hungarian version they are saying "at 14:25".

Really cool!

WE will enter Winter/Christmas mode a bit later, by switching to a changed regular line-up starting December 16th, and a block with movies (WBB, Craig Before the Creek, Steven Universe, LEGO Batman, ...) and themed episodes starting December 21st, airing from 09:45-16:00ish.
On December 26th+27th, it's back to the regular line-up (including Gumball as the Star of the Week) with themed episodes placed randomly, and from December 28th-31st, themed episodes (and Craig Before the Creek) will air from 09:00-16:00.

Wonder if they'll also do something for Türkiye. Would be cool to have Discovery Family

In Turkey, this promo was introduced as the most popular episodes. In fact, it could have been broadcasted as a "weekend marathon" from Saturday 06:00 to Monday morning 06:00. And the mid-term break has begun for children who go to school in Turkey. All episodes could have been shown continuously for 3 days.

It isn’t cool for a reason.

The channel broadcasted in the Middle East and Africa, and formerly broadcasted in Malta, since 2016, as a replacement for Discovery World, and it is NOT a cartoon channel. It airs Discovery Channel and Discovery Science content, and also motor programs and car crashing (or robotic fight) competition show. The channel is currently on streaming and cable platforms in the MENA region (particularly GCC countries).

They unfortunately removed Discovery Science and DTX in most (not all countries, aired only in Benelux and Nordics) EMEA markets, but kept autopilot ones like Discovery Family and Travel Channel, and also a channel like CN Hindi.

Well, at least one dub of the promo mentioned the timeslot. Though they still can't show the screenbug, as it would be confusing for the other tracks.

Also....
REGULAR SHOW ON CN CEE FOR THE FIRST TIME AFTER LIKE 6 YEARS?!?

Are they gonna make complete Serbian, Croatian and Slovene dubs for Regular Show, Adventure Time (excluding the banned-in-EMEA AT episodes "Wake Up", "Escape from the Citadel", "The Tower" and "Breezy") and Steven Universe anytime soon? Would be nice for these dubs to appear on both CN CEE and Max simultaneously (pretty sure Max has all three shows in all CEE countries, but lacks dubbing in the aforementioned three languages).

You should check it first then say anything.
Ooops. Then... it's all good. (also, be more nice when talking to someone, Besides, I was actually referring to the promotional screenbug meant to promote the stunt outside of the time it is on, not the banner seen during it directly. Idk if we have that one.)

Anyways, I guess the only time I can see live the stunt is on weekends.

Poorly translated CN UK/Europe Super Chunk Sunday promo from Spain before the split. Sounds like a shoddy AI dub :p

So which CN WE and CN CEE subfeeds have no ad breaks (and thus, no ad break bumpers to speak of)? I know the Nordic subfeed of WE likely doesn't.

So that means the ad break bumpers have never been dubbed into German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Czech or Russian?

Also, pretty sure CN CEE's Serbian, Croatian and Slovene audio tracks have English-language promos and bumpers despite every show being dubbed.

Well, I still would like to see Netflix do more with the "three episodes per week" format after Arcane. The final arc of The Dragon Prince could ultilise this, should it be greenlit after the upcoming release of Book Seven: Dark in eight days' time.
Would love to see Five Guys open a restaurant in Portugal one day.
It's quite funny that American Dad! managed to improve in their later episodes, whereas the later episodes of Family Guy hasn't had the same factor as their early episodes.
I may plan on seeing Arcane next year.
I wonder why Nickelodeon is lacking to promote Christmas promo for Nickelodeon shows, other than just 25 Days of Spongemas? There were little of other shows Christmas, like Young Dylan has another Christmas special for new season, and no reruns after. Also Blaze had new Christmas recently and no reruns since...

Seems very lowkey for Nickelodeon for now this year, likely due to Paramount layoffs.
