Do you have to be a paying beIN subscriber to receive it though? I've looked at their free basic package and you can't get the channel. Packages - beIN.com

I was just writing the answer before you put the beIN link. I knew about that package before.

OFF: The Basic package from beIN has just two premium channels (Jeem TV and Baraem) and the rest are FTA channels. That package is useless, and those who worked for beIN doesn’t have knowledge about pay-TV packages. Their former basic package, Access, which existed between 2015 and 2021, which had few premium channels, was way much better than that useless “Basic” package.

ON: CN Arabic should have stayed FTA on Eshailsat and in HD rather than broadcasting it on beIN, so they could enjoy the HD quality.

Launching a new tracks costs their more money when they need a Finnish announcer if that was about to happen. Anyway I still don't see them adding the Finnish track. They should have done that 5 years ago when they finally dubbed everything in a hurry. And for a 5.5 million population when the country is over 1300 miles long. The number seems big but for a big country, that's not much.

Again, it's not timeshift, you get the "main" initial point feed

And why it's unneeded? You get the TV programmes at your local time

EPGs likely haven't been properly informed

How can you say it is ok, when the EET time (which Romania always used) starts at 07:00 in general?

Speaking of which, here is how the switchover was handled by us, since no one posted yet (I think) the Romanian switch.
Here it was very abrupt, it happened while Bakugan already started on the new merged signal, so we didn't catch the loop ident. Also, it happened at around 06:10 at our time, to be clear, not at 07:10.

Plus, it wasn't clear, it mentioned something about the EPG

They haven't been unified outside of the schedule

I mean even Hong Kong is tiny (with around 8 million inhabitants) but is very influential and even had some "local" feeds in Cantonese

Even though they had the headquarters in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore, a Cantonese track was never a priority for them. Same for Nickelodeon, only Disney cared about the language.

Yep..Romanian dub translated a song about love in friendship when was obvious what was about.
Same in "The Question" with the line "Do you marry me?" in "Do you want to be always with me?"

Imagine if some dubs of Honor Thy Ed had to change the dialogue to remove references to marriage. But this would imply a huge part of the episode cut Arabian style.

Even though they had the headquarters in Hong Kong before moving to Singapore, a Cantonese track was never a priority for them. Same for Nickelodeon, only Disney cared about the language.

Imagine if some dubs of Honor Thy Ed had to change the dialogue to remove references to marriage. But this would imply a huge part of the episode cut Arabian style.

ACTUALLY...they did say Fusion Party and not wedding..only once in a song was mentioned as wedding

I've learned about all this merging stuff only last week, here, going back pages and pages to learn more and understand what's happening. I noticed a different schedule on CN, even though I barely tune into the channel these days, still I took note of Bakugan at 06.00 cet and the channel having that trademark, start of the day, slot again. I had no idea this was related to this merger until I read about it here.

Today, I saw the new, bigger logo and some continuity at around 21.15 cet, between Teen Titans and Gumball. I find all these changes to be good. Finally the channel has a unified look, UP NEXT bumpers, new idents and a fresh new feel, even though parts of it have been used for years. It's also great that they now use that laugh box during the fillers. Before you could never know if it's really a cartoon or just a filler, especially since 90% of the time they used Teen Titans and Gumball for filler, 2 shows that occupied most of the schedule.

I know the schedule is limited but perhaps they will add more stuff in the future. I do wish Regular Show would make a comeback.

CZ seems same as everyone else. Don't have really much to say. I'm confused about the next bumpers and fillers a bit, but it seems overall like a much needed change. Now they are more prepared for a proper rebrand in the future. Sure, the feed seems now more sterile and boring in a way, but the dropping of ads over a year ago should have seen it coming. I just wish now that the overnight schedule was something better, ideally: Adventure Time, Regular Show, Steven Universe, Clarence, Uncle Grandpa. THEN I would be happy for now. They need more fillers though. I'd rate it 7/10 overall. The fillers logo reminds me of Toonbites.

Have they aired the Dimensional start up there or is it the old one? I saw videos from the channels after merging getting the new start up filler and some of those where when the old start up aired for the last time before the switch.

Cartoon Network CEE&CAAC (Central Eastern Europe & Central Asia + Caucasus)

I understand that the new CN CEE is accepted by all the old ones from the old CN CEE, Poland and Southeastern Europe? and the former CN RSEE repeats the CN CEE schedule, but the programs are an hour later, but the channel is hosted by CIS and Baltic countries? I would like to know what time the CN CEE and CN CEE -1 channels are following? On both channels, all languages are listed in the credits. does it turn out that all languages are there or is it done for convenience?

All in all, it is funny to think how "CN Germany" ended up being inferior to "CEE". We rebranded before "CN GAS", while most of the time they were ahead of us and had less continuity mess-ups and so on. (Plus, on the time the German feeds had those postpones of premieres in 2016-2017, "CN Germany" had none of those). It is interesting how tables have turned and "CEE" is better than "GAS" at the moment.

Not trying to downsize anything, just a simple assumption on how things are now the oppoosite for us.

It'll likely be at the end of the month, likely 26th when the schedule changes for Nordic.

@Daffyrocks it's better just in terms of graphics, and it's a question of time before the German team doesn't unify the Western feeds, nothing else
CN Germany is not much popular anyway, compared to CEE; even the German stated this, in the past

@TVArchive the channel is called simplify CN CEE,nothing else, these are the main markets being targeted, although also received partly elsewhere

CN CEE starts from the Eastern European Times area, so it can't be CN CEE "-1", it's not possible to shift the channel one-hour earlier; rather, the channel is timeshifted for Central European times areas

I was surprised when the filler, where characters from UG and RS existed, is being aired on CN CEE, despite it was supposed to be aired for CN WE when play-out merge happen.

After the CEE merger is done, let’s see how the Western European merger will be later. I guess the UK Dimensional loop or the French one will be aired.
